Abstract: House of intelligence(Chinese:精明之府), a TCM term, whose denotative meaning and connotative meaning are discussed and analyzed in this paper, based on xiang (image) thinking methods combinaed with the concept of correspondence between nature and universe. In a word, house of intelligence is an image of human body correspondence to the images of nature and universe. The paper analyzed a classical issue from a new perspective, which is important for better understanding of TCM theories.
