Patients’ constitutions and needling based on physical differentiation are internal environment basis of obtaining qi. The thinking of acupuncture differentiation and treatment, takes pathogenesis as the core, emphasizes the key roles of location, nature and course of a disease in obtaining qi. Obtaining qi even qi arrival should be stressed in needling in clinic, and then regulating yin and yang and reaching equilibrium will be achieved.
