Abstract: Fu Qingzhu Nyuke (Fu Qingzhu’s Obstetrics and Gynecology) is written by Fu Shan, and it is specialized for gynecology. Common gynecological diseases such as leucorrhea, metrorrhagia, regulating menstruation, pregnancy, gestation and postpartum are listed in the book. The treatment of infertility in the book reflects Fu’s academic thoughts, pattern differentiation thinking, therapies, formulas and medicinals, which has great influence on later generations. In Pregnancy Chapter, Fu’s therapies for infertility emphasize tonifying kidney, liver and spleen, coordinating heart and kidney, reinforcing healthy qi and eliminating pathogenic factors and combining with Menstruation Regulation Chapter, Fu Shan had realized that pregnancy followed regulating menstruation. Fu’s academic thoughts on treatment of infertility are analyzed from above aspects, and the purpose is to further understand the book’s essence, enrich physicians’ clinical experiences and offer services for more infertile patients.
