were examined. The extent of the normal values of cunkou blood flow speed and time

blood flow indexes and mean blood flow volume were initially clarified by observing the healthy subjects by using Doppler techniques. The present study not only provides quantitative criteria for studying the situations of the tone and fluency of TCM pulsation patterns and the changes in the degree of the tension of the cunkou artery

but also possesses certain value for studying the diseases relating with the changes of TCM pulsation patterns.
