    • Establishment and evaluation of the comorbidity animal model of knee osteoarthritis and hypertension with pattern of liver and kidney deficiency

    • In the field of medical research, a research team has successfully established a rat model of primary hypertension combined with knee osteoarthritis and liver and kidney deficiency syndrome. Through a series of tests and observations, it has been confirmed that the model conforms to the clinical characteristics of traditional Chinese and Western medicine, can characterize the main symptoms of liver and kidney deficiency syndrome, has typical histopathological changes in knee cartilage and subchondral bone, and can maintain a stable range of systolic and diastolic blood pressure hypertension. This research achievement provides an effective experimental carrier for revealing the essence of the disease patterns and therapeutic mechanisms of the advantageous diseases of traditional Chinese medicine, as well as for the development of innovative traditional Chinese medicine drugs.
