    • Analysis of serum metabolomic characteristics of patients in the active stage of ulcerative colitis with syndrome of dampness-heat in large intestine

    • The latest research has revealed the metabolomic characteristics of patients with active ulcerative colitis and damp heat syndrome in the large intestine. Non target metabolomics techniques were used to detect serum samples and screen for significantly different metabolites. KEGG database and MetaboAnalyst software were used for pathway analysis, and it was found that the main pathway abnormalities involved were tryptophan metabolism, sphingolipid metabolism, glycerophospholipid metabolism, and pyrimidine metabolism, providing a scientific basis for traditional Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation and treatment.
