“According to the theory of "spleen and stomach deficiency and excess transmission" in the Huangdi Neijing, Li Dongyuan deepened the pathological relationship between the spleen and stomach and the five organs and six viscera, and believed that spleen and soil deficiency and decline were the pathological basis of allergic rhinitis.”
