摘要:Mouse model of senile dementia was induced by orally giving aluminum oxide to the animal.Mice of senile dementia in the experimental study were treated with Yicong recipe or with Zengzhi recipe; and their memory, cerebral weight, lipid peroxide, and B monoamine oxidase were observed. The results showed that Zengzhi recipe was more effective in promoting the memory and restoring cerebral weight to normal condition, while Yioong recipe was more cffectivc in deansing cleansing peroxide and inhibiting the activity of B monoamine oxidase.
摘要:Diabetic patients with micro-vascular pathogenic abnormity were divided into Zhixiao Tongmai decoction group(50 cases), Western drug group (50 cases) and Chinese and Western drug combination group(125 cases). Each group was given relevant drugs for treatment, and then, the criteria such as blood sugar, glucose in urine, hemoglobin of glycosylation, blood-lipid, blood rheology, thromboxane B2, 6keto-prostaglandin, and the diabetic micro-vascular complication were observed. The results showed that the total effectiveness of Zhixiao Tongmai decoction group was 76%, that of Western drug group was 78%, and that of Chinese and Western drug combination group was 85. 6 %.
摘要:The paper reviews the studies on prevention and treatment of hepatic fibrosis from four aspects or pathogenesis of hepatic fibrosis, studies of treating hepatic fibroeis by TCM therapies, laboratory studies of resisting hepatic fibrosis, and prospects of treating hepatic fibrosis. The author holds that the exploratory research on TCM recipes and drugs against hepatic fibrosis should be included in the overall object of preventing and treating chronic hepatic diseases, and the recipes and drugs used to promote blood flow for eliminating blood stasis should be regarded as key subjects in the exploratory research. The author believes that studies of treating hepatic fibrosis will achieve significant results on the basis of designing the animal model of hepatic fibrosis which resembles that in human beings, establishing objective and specific test criteria, and studying the pathogenesis of hepatic fibrosis on molecular biological level.

摘要:Differentiation of syndromes according to wei-qi-ying-xue system and differentiation of syndromes according to sanjiao system, the core of the theoretical content of the science of epidemic febrile diseases (SEFD), are important components of TCM differentiation of syndromes and are the basis of various clinical sciences; they can be used not only in diagnosing and treating epidemic febrile diseases, but also in diagnosing and treating internal miscellaneous diseases. SEFD should be defined as a third-class branch of TCM. For developing SEFD, besides making use of the existing achievements, attention should be paid to studying the diagnosis and treatment of internal miscellaneous diseases according to the theory and clinical practice of SEFD,the rules of diagnosing and treating miscellaneous diseases of the well-known doctors of SEFD, the mutual transplantation and penetration of the science of exogenous febrile diseases and SEFD, and the mutual transplantation and penetration of the theory and clinical practice of SEFD and the modern medical theory and clinical practice. The course of SEFD may be divided into classical SEFD, the schools of epidemic febrile diseases the science of internal miscellaneous diseases, TCM lemology, and experimental SEFD. The definition of SEFD should be further discussed.

摘要:The thinking and relevant technological issues of developing new TCM composite preparations are discussed in this paper. The author holds that the effects of TCM comoposite recipes are based on the complicated ingredient combination and the interaction of the chemical components of the ingredients. The present academic thinking and motheds for developing new TCM composite preparations are not so correct because they come from the experience of studying medicinal plants. In developing new TCM comoposite preparations, stress should be put on the overall effects of the composite recipes and on the chemical components of the ingredients closely related with this kind of effects. A successful new TCM composite preparation involes the following factors, for example, research subject selecting, research work plan making, and technological procedures establishing. The important matter is extracting the ingredients of the composite recipe under research according to its overall effects and the chemical components closely related with the effects.
