摘要:Objective To explore the present and potential problems in the research of syndromes from aspect of related frontier branches of science like philosophy,linguistics,noetic science and mathematics,and to inspire further thinking of researchers into syndromes.Methods The ontology basis of western and Chinese medicine were discussed from the aspect of ontology in the western philosophy,"manifestation" and "implication" of syndromes were studied from eastern philosophy,the surface structure and deep structure of syndromes were analyzed from linguistics,the "question of fact" and "question of normalization" considered in the thinking were expounded from noetic science,and the sequence and non-sequence constituted in the "cluster of symptoms and signs" of syndromes were explored from mathematics.Results The ontology basis of syndromes in Chinese medicine are mostly the "promise of ontology" and scarcely the "fact of ontology",and although importance is attached to the "manifestation",the more should be given to the "implication" that is deduced from "manifestation".Syndromes are preferred to be classified into "macro-structure" and "micro-structure",which are in precedence relation but integrated as one whole,and the "cluster of symptoms and signs" should be sequential.Conclusion In the research of syndromes,it should be born in mind of the "promise of ontology" which is made during the development of Chinese medical theory,and that how "fabrication" is employed to remedy the flaw of epistemology.Our way of thinking should be normalized,and the "promise of ontology" and "fact of ontology" are two things,and two different approaches by which theoretical systems are constructed.
摘要:The syndrome factors referred to the major elements composing the syndromes.By an analysis of the treatment on epidemic encephalitis B in 1950s and SARS in 2003 with traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),a common characteristic could be seen that the methods of syndrome differentiation mentioned in TCM field were colorful and the syndrome factors were rather concentrated.The relevant syndrome factors of epidemic encephalitis B were concentrated relatively on 6 basic elements,including toxin,heat,dampness,inner wind,phlegm and yin deficiency,and the syndrome factors of SARS were concentrated on 7 basic elements,including toxin,heat,dampness,blood stasis,yin-deficiency,qi-deficiency and phlegm,while the appearance rate of other factors was under 20%,which showed that the differentiation of syndrome factors exerted a subtle and important influence in all previous outburst public health events.The collection of the syndrome factors,therefore,should be the most effective method to standardize diseases and syndromes.
摘要:The syndrome model has been constantly concerned as a technological platform in the study of Chinese medical theory and herbs.A syndrome model is a biological and physiological entirety of the animal model,including biochemical,pathological,genetically modified and cell models.They are not the same biological sign models,and they differ in tongue,lip,nail,auricle,tail tip,eye ball,skin and hair conditions,as well as animal behaviours.These models should confirm with the manifestations seen with the four diagnostic methods of Chinese medicine,rather than the imagined biological index.The design of syndrome model has to follow such a train of thought: cause-pulse,tongue conditions-syndromes-treatment.The cause refers to the factors of model establishment,such as "cold" in the syndrome of congealing cold with blood stasis.The pulse and tongue conditions are clinical symptoms and signs,and they refer to the characteristics of the body surface of the animal model.The syndromes are a general term for the pathological mechanism reflected by the characteristics of the body surface.The treatment is a counterevidence of prescription intervention.The pulse and tongue conditions are a relatively direct,object and important index system in syndrome model evaluation.The nature of the animal model would be determined if only the biological signs of the model should accord to the human clinical symptoms and signs of a certain syndrome.The key point of the treatment is prescriptions and to test the syndromes by prescriptions is an important method to verify the syndrome model.The research of the syndrome model is a frontier branch in research of Chinese medical theory and syndrome model can not replace human syndromes.Conclusions reached in the investigation of syndrome model cannot directly interpret the questions related to the human syndromes,so the principle of the syndrome study should be concentrated on the human body.
摘要:Objective To observe the inhibitory effect of berberine on hypertrophic cardiomyopathy(HCM) in the model and influence of berberine on the content of exocellular matrix collagen.Methods Two-kidney one-clip(2K1C) method was used to establish rat model of HCM.After 4 weeks the rats were divided into 5 groups according to their systolic pressure levels,including the HCM model group,the groups with 5,10,20 mg/kg berberine respectively and the group with 45mg/kg captopril,while the control group was given sham-operation.The drugs were orally administered for 6 weeks in different groups.Then cardiac weight indexes,contents of collagen and angiotensin II(AngII) in left ventricular tissue were measured.Results The cardiac weights and cardiac weight indexes,contents of collagen and AngII in left ventricular tissue decreased in model rats after constant administration of berberine for 6 weeks.The effect of berberine was in a dose-dependent manner.Conclusion Berberine can improve the ventricular remodeling by inhibiting ventricular interstitial fibrosis,which maybe related to its regulation effect on AngII and some other nervous endocrine factors.
摘要:Objective To observe the changes of enzyme which reflected the energy and lipid peroxidation of cardiac cells induced by Angiotensin II(AngII),and different effects of some different Chinese herbs with the effects of replenishing qi and activating blood on these indexes.Method AngII was used in the cultured cardiac cells of SD mouse.The changes of contents of L-lactate dehydrogenase(LDH),succinate dehydrogenase(SDH),malondialdehyde(MDA) and activity of superoxide dismutase(SOD) in cell supernate were observed after 24,48,72 and 96 hours.The effects of above Chinese herbs were also observed.Result After 48 hours of AngII was used the contents of LDH,SDH and MDA decreased obviously(P<0.01) in cell supernate.The activity of SOD decreased obviously(P<0.01),while in different groups with different Chinese herbs the contents of LDH,SDH and MDA increased obviously and the activity of SLD increased(P<0.05 or P<0.01).Conclusion The function of cardiac cells was influenced by the changes of energy and lipid peroxidation induced by AngII.The Chinese herbs with the effects of replenishing qi and activating blood can protect the cardiac cells.

摘要:Objective To observe the expression of nuclear transcription factor-cyclic response element-binding protain(CREB)mRNA and the interference effect of Yinaojieyu Formula on the rat model of post-stroke depression.Method Reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR) was used in the rat model of post-stroke depression.The expression of CREBmRNA in prefrontal cortex and hippocampus,and the interference of Yinaojieyu Formula were observed.Result The expression of CREBmRNA in hippocampus and prefrontal cortex in the rat model of post-stroke depression in the treatment group decreased obviously compared to that of the normal group.Yinaojieyu Formula improved obviously the expression of CREBmRNA.Conclusion The expression of CREB mRNA in the brain of rat model of post-stroke depression decreased,while Yinaojieyu Formula can increases this expression.The result showed that the expression of CREB decreased in post-stroke depression and the anti-depression effect of Yinaojieyu Formula may be related to its function of improving CREBmRNA expression.

摘要:Objective To establish the rat model of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD) and to investigate the influence of complex prescription with the effects of replenishing qi,activating blood and resolving phlegm on rat lung function.Methods A compound method combined with endotracheal endotoxic injection and fumigation was used to establish COPD model and the pathological changes were observed.The complex prescription and roxithromycin were given to interfere rat lung function at the different time points and the influence of interference factors on lung function was observed.Rusults ① The total expiratory resistance(Re),the maximal voluntary ventilation(MVV),the ratio of forced expiratory volume at 0.3 second and forced vital capacity(FEV0.3/FVC),the forced expiratory flow(FEF25-75) decreased in the model group compared with that in the normal group with a significant difference(P<0.05).② The difference between the treatment group and the model group was significant in Re,FEV0.3,FEV0.3/FVC,MVV and FEF25-75.The difference between the roxithromgcin group and the model group was significant in Re,FEV0.3,FEV0.3/FVC.③ The difference between the treatment group and the roxithromycin group was significant in MVV,FVC, FEV0.3,FEF25-75 and peak expiratory flow(PEF),especially in 30 days.④ The result of the treatment group in 20 days was superior to that in 30 days and 40 days.Conclusion The complex prescription and roxithromycin all can delay the lung hypofunction in COPD patients,but their reversal effects on lung hypofunction is needed a further study.An early reference had a more significant curative effect.

摘要:Objective To establish a multidimensional pulse-diagnostic message collecting and processing system for dynamic identification of radial artery motion,and to develop a new model of pulse-diagnostic apparatus.Method Different sensors(such as blood flow impedance sensor,ultrasound pulse signal sensor,photoelectric pulse sensor,etc.) were used to collect different physical variables(such as pressure,blood flow impedance,finger-volume pulse wave,ECG,etc.),at the cunkou site of the radial artery.The pulse-diagnostic messages collected were comprehensively studied by data-digging technique.Result The present one-dimensional mode of collecting and processing pulse-diagnostic messages was broken through,and a new mode of collecting pulse-diagnostic messages was established,which possesses the features of pulse-diagnostic signal dynamic identification,two-dimensional cross section,multi-channel,and data digging.Conclusion The system developed can transform pulse-diagnostic messages into intuitionistic,visual and quantitative vascular motion messages.
摘要:Objective To observe the effect of moxibustion or acupuncture in Dazhui(GV14) acupoint on behavior and positive neuron numbers of arginine vasopressin(AVP) in nucleus paraventricularis hypothalami(NPH) in rats with chronic stress disturbance. Methods To divide randomly SD rats into the normal group,model group,moxibustion group and acupuncture group according to the Random Number Table. The model of chronic stress disturbance was established through single housed and long-term mild unpredictable stimulation.Some ethology indexes,such as mental status,weight,sucrotropic degree,wide-field test result were observed in different groups.The numbers of positive neuron of AVP in NPH in different groups were compared by using immunohistochemistry and imag analysis.Results The chronic stimulation resulted in the decrease of rat activity,inappetence,dispiritedness,weight,sucrotropic degree,and activity numbers in wide-field test.The positive neuron numbers of AVP in NPH in the model group was higher obviously that that of the normal group.In the moxibustion and acupuncture groups the above behaviors of rats were relieved and the positive neuron numbers of AVP were decreased(P<0.05-P<0.01).There was no significant difference between the moxibustion group and acupuncture group.Conclusion Moxibustion or acupuncture in Dazhui(GV14) acupoint all can improve obviously the behaviors of depressed rats.The mechanism maybe related to the regulation of AVP in NPH by moxibustion or acupuncture.Moxibustion differed insignificantly from acupuncture.

摘要:Objective To investigate the mechanism of Chinese medicine for treating acne and the pharmacological effect of Cuochuang Granules(CG).Methods The test of bacteriostatic in vitro,antibacterial test in vivo were carried out,and the effects of CG on acute exudative inflammation of mouse auricle,on mouse abdominal capillary permeability,on rat abdominal leukocytoplania,on microcurculation of mouse auricle and on uterus weight in female deovary mice were observed in Kunming mice and Wister rats.Results CG had the bacteriostatic effect in different degrees in vitro on 47 strains of 5 species of peccant bacteria,especially on Staphylococcus aureus,Staphylococcus epidermidis and acne diphtheroid.CG had a protective effect in vivo on mouse abdominal inflammation of Staphylococcus aureus.The survival rate of mouse was 70%.CG had an obvious inhibitory effect on acute exudative inflammation of mouse auricle induced by dimethylbenzene(P<0.01).CG had an inhibitory effect on accentuation of capillary permeability of mouse abdomen induced by acetic acid.The inhibitory rate of WBC number was 62.65% in the inflammatory transudate induced by CMC.CG could dilate capissary arteries and veins of mouse auricle at different times.The comparison to the blank group was P<0.01 or P<0.05.CG increased the uterus weight of female deovary mouse(P<0.05). Conclusion CG has the obvious effects of bacteriostatic,antiinfection and microcirculation improvement.These effects are consistent with CG’s effects of cooling blood to remove toxin,drying dampness and clearing away heat,and activating blood to subside swelling.
摘要:Objective To observe the effect of Qingkailing Injection on the secrete of vascular-endothelial cells(VEC) in the rabbits with fever induced by endotoxin(ET).Methods The rabbit model of fever was established by the injection of ET.The effect of Qingkailing Injection on rabbit temperature was observed.The blood contents of endothelin,thuom boxane B2(TXB2) and 6-Keto-Prostaglandin F1α(6-keto-PGF1α) in blood plasma were determined by radioimmunoassay.The activities of tissue-type plasminogen activator(t-PA) and plasminogen activator inhibitor(PAI) were measured by the assay of chromogenic substrate.Results Qingkailing Injection had a remarkable antipyretic effect on rabbits with ET fever(P<0.01).In Qingkailing Injection combining with ET group the blood contents of endothelin,TXB2 and activity of PAI were obviously lower than that of ET group(P<0.01,P<0.05),but the content of 6-keto-PGF1α and t-PA activity were obviously higher than that of ET group(P<0.05,P<0.01).Conclusion Qingkailing Injection plays its antipyretic effect through improving VEC secrete in ET fever rabbits,dilating capillary vessels,and accelerating fever dissipation on the body surface.
摘要:Objective To observe the effect of Baizhu Decoction used externally on the serum content of tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) in mice with auricle infection.Method The ICR mice were randomly divided into the model group,Baizhu group and Guyouling group.Baizhu Decoction,Guyouling Liniment and normal saline solution were painted on mouse auricle followed by dimethylbenzene to induce auricle infection.The TNF-α content in mouse serum was detected by the method of cancer cell line L929 stained by crystal violet.Result The serum TNF-α content in Baizhu group was lower than that in the model group with a significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion Baizhu Decoction used externally can decrease the content of serum TNF-α in mice with auricle infection,so its anti-infection effect maybe related to that it can decrease the TNF-α content.

摘要:Objective To establish a HPLC method for the determination of the contents of four flavonoids,(i.e.) baicalin,wogonoside,baicalein and wogonin,in the effective fraction of Kushen Decoction.Method The determination was carried out on a Phenomenex Luna C18 column(4.6 mm×250 mm,5 μm).The mobile phase was methanol-phosphoric acid water solution [H3PO3∶H2O(2∶530)](45∶55) at a flow velocity of 1.0 mL/min.The detection wavelength was 280 nm.Results The average recovery for baicalin was 99.28%(RSD=1.92%,n=5),for wogonoside, 98.48%(RSD=1.53%,n=5),for baicalein,99.51%(RSD=1.81%,n=5) and for wogonin,97.43%(RSD=2.14%,n=5).Conclusion The determination of three batches of samples showed that this method was easy,accurate,and could be used to determine the contents of four flavonoids in the effective fraction of Kushen Decoction.
摘要:Objective To study the chemical components in the volatile oil from Altai Bupleurum Root.Method The volatile oil from Altai Bupleurum Root was extracted by the method of water vapor distillation.The chemical components in volatile oil were analysed and identified by GC-MS system.Result There were 45 chemical components identified,which accounted for 77.07% in total component of volatile oil.Conclusion The chemical components in the volatile oil from Altai Bupleurum Root were mainly α-cadibene(21.1%),oxidative aromadendrene(2,6.61%) and α-caryophellene(4.65%).So Altai Bupleurum Root is similat to Root of Red Thorowax.

摘要:Objective To optimize the technique condition of enzymatic hydrolysis of Scorpion with pepsin and trypsin and to test the availability of this techneque with anti-tumour drugs.Methods The orthogonal test was used to select the best technique condition with alanine content as the index, the temperature,time and ratio of enzyme to substrate as the observation factors.Kjeldahl nitrogen method was used to determine the protein hydrolysis ratio under this condition.Result The best condition was as follows: Scorpion was firstly hydrolyzed for 4 hours in an artificial gastric liquid at 40℃ which contained 2.5% pepsin(pepsin to substrate).Then the residue was hydrolyzed for 4 hours in artificial intestine liquid which was heated to 53 ℃ and contained 5.0% trypsin(trypsin to substrate).The protein hydrolysis ratio in this condition determined by Kjeldahl nitrogen method had reached 80.7%.Conclusion The hydrolysis extract of Scorpion has a significant antitumour activity through the test of anti-tumour drugs.Its anti-tumour effect is stronger than that of crude powder of Scorpion.
摘要:Objective To discuss the distribution law and internal characteristics of syndrome manifestations of chronic hepatitis B,and to provide a base for standardized study of syndrome manifestations.Method According to the principles of evidence-based medicine,the syndrome manifestations and syndrome factors in documents over the past ten years qualified to the selection standard were analyzed.Results The result showed that the most common syndrome manifestations successively were stagnancy in the liver leading to spleen-deficiency,insufficiency of liver-yin and kidney-yin,accumulation of damp-heat,deficiency of spleen-yang and kidney-yang,obstruction of blood stasis in collaterals,damp-heat in liver and gallbladder,qi stagnation and blood stasis,stagnation of liver-qi,liver depression and blood stasis,stasis of blood,deficiency of both spleen and kidney.The syndrome factors consisted of disease location and disease characters.The location included liver,gallbladder,spleen,kidney,stomach,Zhongjiao and collaterals.The characters included yin insufficiency,yang deficiency,qi deficiency,blood insufficiency,dampness,heat,qi stagnation,blood stasis,toxin,cold,water and phlegm.Conclusion This paper summed up the distribution law of common syndrome manifestations and syndrome factors and provided a base for standardized study on symptoms and signs of chronic hepatitis B.
摘要:Objective To observe the effect of Fuzhengyiliu Granules on cell cycle and nuclear transcription factor-κB(NF-κB) in tissue of esophageal carcinoma.Method To divide randomly 68 patients with esophageal carcinoma into two groups.The treatment group was given Fuzhengyiliu Granules for 15 days and then the operations were performed in two groups respectively. The cell cycle and NF-κB in tumour tissue of the patients in two groups were examined.Result The level of NF-κB in the treatment group was significantly increased than that in the control group(P<0.05).The ratio of G0/G1 stage cells were significantly increased(P<0.01) and that of S stage cells significantly decreased(P<0.01) in the treatment group.At the same time there was a significant difference in cell apoptosis rate between two groups(P<0.001).Conclusion Fuzhengyiliu Granules can increase the NF-κB expression,block the proliferation and promote the apoptosis of tumour cells.
摘要:Objective To evaluate the effect of Fufangkushen Injection(FI) on immunity of patient with metaphase and late lung squamous carcinoma treated with chemotherapy and FI’s assistant role in chemotherapy.Methods To divide randomly 118 patients with metaphase and late lung squamous carcinoma treated with chemotherapy into the treatment group(n=60) and the control group(n=58).The control group was given the routine treatment and the treatment group was given chemotherapy and 20ml of FI once a day for two weeks.The changes of T cells and NK cells,and the side effects of chemotherapy were observed before and after the treatment.Results In the treatment group Karaufsky score was higher than that of the control group.The average index of CD3+、CD4+、CD4+/ CD8+ and NK cells was increased in different degrees in the treatment group with a significant difference compared with the control group(P<0.01).In the treatment group the side effects,like myelosuppression and gastrointestinal reaction were less serious,and the recovery time of the patient was shorter than that of the control group.Conclusion FI can improve the immunity of the patient and attenuate the side effects of chemotherapy.
摘要:Objective To discuss the curative effect of Zhenming Capsules on allergic rhinitis.Method To select and divide randomly 120 cases of allergic rhinitis into the treatment group and the control group(each n=60),and give Zhenming Capsules and Histaspan to two groups respectively. The symptoms,such as sneeze,nasal discharge,nasal congestion and itch were observed before and after the treatment and scaled and scored.The side effects of Zhenming Capsules were observed too during the treatment.Result The symptoms were relieved obviously after the treatment in the treatment group(P<0.05) with a higher effective rate and total effective rate(P<0.05) compared with that in the control group.The side effects were not seen during the treatment.Conclusion Zhenming Capsules is an ideal medicine for allergic rhinitis with better effect and without side effects.

摘要:Objective To observe the curative effect of the Jianshen Granules(JG) on chronic renal failure(CRF).Method To divide randomly 67 cases of I and II period of CRF into the JG group(n=34) and the control group(n=33).The symptom integral,the serum levels of creatinine(Cr), blood urea nitrogen(BUN),interleukin-8(IL-8),endothelin(ET),hemoglobin(HGB),β2-mg,and change of urine protein in 24 hours in two groups were observed before and after the treatment.Results After the treatment the symptom integral,levels of Cr,BUN,IL-8,ET,β2-mg and urine protein in 24 hours were decreased obviously in the JG group compared with that in the control group(P<0.05,P<0.01).The clinical effective rate in the JG group was 88.24%,which was higher than that in the control group(69.70%) with a significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion Jianshen Granules can improve renal function and quality of life,decrease the serum levels of IL-8 and ET,symptom integral,and delay the process of CRF.
