摘要:Epilepsy is thought as the miscellaneous disease induced by latent qi in TCM theory according to the characteristics of toxic evil,incubated evil,and its cause,pathogenesis and clinical features.The incubated evil is a kind of toxin evil,which produced from the accumulation of toxin, wind,phlegm,fire or blood stasis,or from the disorder of five zang-organs,or from incubation of toxin evil in the brain collaterals.The toxin evil stays in the internal deeply,accumulates and ankyloses to develop into epilepsy,which is the pathological base of epilepsy with the characteristics of intermittent attack and being lingering and difficult to cure.The curing thought was suggested here,i.e.treating epilepsy by regulating functions and detoxification.
摘要:Zangxiang theory is the core of TCM theory.The thinking model was set up in this paper based on TCM zangxiang theory and three-yin and three-yang system.This model integrated the yin-yang theory,five elements theory,zangfu theory,meridians theory and qi-xue-jin-ye theory as a whole,which plays a role of carrier of the thought of guessing interior by exterior manifestations in zangxiang theory.The study has contributed to TCM basic theory transforming into practical technique,promoting the research of TCM zangxiang theory,and playing a leading role in the development of modern life sciences.

摘要:Objective To observe the protective effect of effective fraction and active components of Jiangzhining Extractum on human umbilical vein endothelial cells(HUVECs) EAHY926 with oxidative lesion.Methods The model of oxidative lesion of Ox-LDL was established after culturing EAHY926 in vitro.The endothelial cell activities were determined by using MTT method.The contents of nitric oxide(NO),endothelin-1(ET-1) and malondialdehyde(MDA) in cells,superocide dismulase(SOD) activity and total antioxidant capacity(T-AOC) were detected by using radioimmunoassay or spectrophotometer.Results The effective fraction and active components of Jiangzhining Extractum increased the activities of endothelial cells with oxidative lesion,promoted NO release,decreased the levels of ET-1 and MDA,and improved the activities of SOD and T-AOC.Conclusion The effective fraction and active components of Jiangzhining Extractum can protect the endothelial cells from lesion induced by Ox-LDL.

摘要:Objective To determine whether Herba Epimedii and monosomic icariin(ICA) have estrogenic effects in mice by two kinds of test methods.Methods The experimental mice were divided into 8 groups according to body weight and random principle,including the normal control group,progynova group,premarin group,Herba Epimedii group and ICA groups with different doses.The uterotrophic assay and ELISA were used to observe the estrogen-like effects of Herba Epimedii and ICA on uterine wet weight and serum relevant hormones in young mice.Results In the uterotrophic assay the uterine coefficient increased more in ICA120 mg group or in ICA240 mg group than that in the normal control group,and that reached a peak value with the increase of ICA dose(around 120 mg).In the determination of serum estrogen and testosterone levels after 4-day taking drugs the serum estrogen level increased significantly in ICA50 mg group or ICA120 mg group,and maintained at a relevant high level with the increase of ICA dose.Compared with the normal control group the serum testosterone level decreased in ICA50 mg group or ICA120 mg group with a greatly significant difference(P<0.01),while when ICA dose increased the serum testosterone level increased gradually and reached a higher level than that in the normal control group.Conclusion A lower dose of ICA can increase the uterus weight of young mouse accompanied by the increase of serum estrogen level and decrease of testosterone level,while higher dose of ICA can not continue to increase serum estrogen level but can in the increase of serum testosterone level.
摘要:Objective To investigate the influence of general steroidal glycosides from Radix Cynanchi Auriculati combined with cyclophosphamide(CY) on immunity in mice with tumor.Methods The tumor model was established in mice by injection of cell line of liver cancer(H22) and ascites tumor(S180).After drug administration for ten days the mice were weighed and thymus indexes were calculated.The proliferations of T cells and B cells of spleen was detected by MTT.Results When general steroidal glycosides from Radix Cynanchi Auriculati was used alone it had no significant antitumor effect,but increased the thymus indexes compared those with the model group(P<0.05) and improved proliferations of T cells and B cells compared with those of model group(P<0.001) in mice with tumor.When general steroidal glycosides from Radix Cynanchi Auriculati was combined with CY,it increased significantly the thymus indexes(compared with those of CY group,P<0.05) and improved proliferations of T cells and B cells(compared with those of model group,P<0.001) in mice with H22 treated with CY.It increased significantly the weight and thymus indexes(compared with those of CY group,P<0.05) and improved proliferation of B cells(compared with that of CY group,P<0.01) in mice with S180 treated with CY.Conclusion General steroidal glycosides from Radix Cynanchi Auriculati combined with CY can improve cell immunity and humoral immunity in mice after chemotherapy and reduce the toxicity of common chemotherapeutic drugs.

摘要:Objective To observe the influence of Shenshuaiyangzhen Capsules on the expressions of Leptin and OB-Rb mRNA of the hypothalamus in rats with malnutrition of chronic renal failure(CRF) induced by adenine.Methods The rat model of CRF malnutrition was established by feeding with 0.5% adenine and 4% casein.The onset time of malnutrition was observed and the rats accorded with malnutrition criterion were randomly divided into the model group,Shenshuaiyangzhen Capsules group and Ketosteril group.The normal group was set up with normal rats.After 4 weeks the blood parameters,including serum creatinine(Scr),blood urea nitrogen(BUN),24-hour urinary protein(24h Upr),albumin(Alb) and hemoglobin(Hb) were detected by biochemistry method. The serum level of Leptin were detected by radioimmunoassay and the expression of OB-Rb mRNA of the hypothalamus was detected by RT-PCR.Results At the end of the 8th after model establishment week the malnutrition was not observed in the rats.Shenshuaiyangzhen Capsules increased the levels of Alb and Hb,decreased the levels of Scr,BUN,24h Upr and serum Leptin,and reduced the expression of OB-Rb mRNA.Conclusion Shenshuaiyangzhen Capsules can relieve the malnutrition of CRF through decreasing the serum level of Leptin and expression of OB-Rb mRNA of the hypothalamus.
摘要:Objective:To investigate the preventive effect of Awei Capsules on hyperlipiemia in rats or rabbits.Method The rats and rabbits were randomly divided into the model group,Awei Capsules group 1,2 and 3(with low,medium and high dose of Awei Capsules respectively),Simvastatin Tablets group and normal control group.The normal control group was feed general diet and other groups were given fatty food and relevant drugs respectively.After 4 and 7 weeks the levels of total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride (TG),high-density lipoprotein-cholesterol(HDL-C) and low-density lipoprotein-cholesterol(LDL-C) were detected.Result In Awei Capsules groups the levels of TC,TG and LDL-C decreased and the ratio of HDL-C to TC increased with a statistical significance in difference between them and the model group(P<0.05).Conclusion Awei Capsules has an obvious preventive effect on hyperlipidemia in rats or rabbits.
摘要:Objective To observe the influences of the medical serum of Shumai Capsules and its different modified formulas on the proliferation of vascular smooth muscle cell(VSMC) induced by angiotensin II(Ang II) and cell cycle.Methods VSMC was cultured by using tissue explant method and Ang II(10-7 mol/L) was taken as stimulation factor.The medical serum were divided into Shumai Capsules group,modified formula group 1(with effect of activating blood circulation and resolving blood stasis) and modified group 2(with effect of replenishing spleen and kidney).The cell proliferation was detected by MTT test and cell cycle was examined by flow cytometer.Results The OD values in Shumai Capsules group and modified formula group 1 were lower than those in Ang II group and modified formula group 2 with a statistical difference.The outcomes of the flow cytometer showed that in GO/G1 phase the proportion of modified formula group 2 was lower than that of the blank group or Ang II group with a statistical difference.In S phase the proportion of the blank group,Shumai Capsules group or modified formula group 1 was lower than that of Ang II group or modified formula group 2 with a statistical difference.The proportion of Shumai Capsules group in S phase was higher than that of the blank group and lower than that of modified formula group 1.In G2/M phase the proportion of modified formula group 1 and 2 was higher than that in blank group or Ang II group with a statistical difference.Conclusion Shumai Capsules can inhibit cell proliferation through stopping the translation of cell cycle from G0/G1 phase to S phase.The effect of Shumai Capsules was higher than that of modified formula with effect of activating blood circulation and resolving blood stasis.In modified formula group 2 the inhibition of cell proliferation was not observed but the improvement of cell proliferation was.

摘要:Objective To investigate the influence of streptozotocin(STZ) on the production of nitric oxide(NO) and insulin of islet β cells in rats,and the protective effect of Huangqi Injection on islet β cells.Methods The islet β cells-RINm5F in rats were pretreated with Huangqi Injection in different concentrations.STZ was used to induce the lesion of the cells and then the level of NO in islet culture supernatants was detected.The glucose stimulating insulin release test was applied to determine the cell functions,flow cytometry was used to detect the cell apoptosis and MTT method was used to test the cell proliferation.Results Huangqi Injection (10% or 20%) decreased significantly the level of NO in islet culture supernatants,protected the insulin release,inhibited the cell apoptosis and promoted the cell proliferation.Conclusion Huangqi Injection can protect islet β cells from injure by STZ,and prevent and treat type 1 diabetes.The apoptosis of islet β cells induced by STZ may be related to NO mediation.

摘要:Objective To study the anti-depression effect of curcumin and its influence on neuropeptide Y(NPY) contents in the hippocampus,hypothalanus and blood plasma in rats with chronic stress depression.Methods All SD male rats(n=24) were divided into the control group,model group,fluoxetine hydrochloside(HCI) group and curcumin group.After 21 days the taking rate of 1% sugar water and forced swimming standing time were observed and NPY contents were detected by ELISA.Results After 21 days the forced swimming standing time was significantly shortened(P<0.05) and the taking rate of sugar water was significantly increased to the same level of the control group(P<0.01) in the curcumin group and fluoxetine HCI group than those in the model group.After 21 days NPY contents in the hippocampus and hypothalanus had no significant statistical difference between the normal group,curcumin group or fluoxetine HCI group and model group.After 21 days NPY contents in blood plasma had significant difference between the control group and model group(P<0.01).There was no statistical difference in plasma NPY content among fluoxetine HCI group,curcumin group and model group.Conclusion Curcumin has anti-depression effect that is similar to that of fluoxetine HCI.The result of this study has not proved the anti-depression effect of curcumin through regulating NPY contents,so further studies are needed.
摘要:Objective To discuss the therapeutic effect of Rupishu Decoction on cyclomastopathy through observing the influence of Rupishu Decoction on sex hormones and mammary glands in rats with cyclomastopathy.Methods The model was established by injecting benzoate estradiol and progestogen in rats for 30 days,and then the rats were treated with tamoxifen,Xiaoyao Powder and Rupishu Decoction respectively and injected estradiol(E2) at the same time for 30 days.The pathological changes of rat mammary glands were observed with the optical microscope after HE staining,and the levels of E2 and progestogen(P) were detected by radioimmunoassay.Results Rupishu Decoction,tamoxifen and Xiaoyao Powder reduced the quantity of the lobule-alveolus of mammary glands,decreased the lobule-alveolus cavity and diameter of the interlobular ducts,and decreased the level of E2 and ratio of E2 to P.Conclusion Rupishu Decoction can inhibit mazoplasia induced by sex hormones through regulating the sex hormone level and relieving the histological changes of mammary glands in rats with cyclomastopathy.

摘要:Objevtive To investigate the efficacy enhancing and toxicity reducing effect of Liujunzi Decoction(LD) on adriamycin (ADM).Method The mice were randomly divided into the control group,ADM group,LD group 1(in high dose of LD+ADM) and LD group 2(in low dose of LD+ADM,each n=10) after the establishment of model of mouse bearing S180 sarcoma.The drugs were given to different groups respectively for 13 days one day after the model establishment and the rats were killed one day after the drug administration stopped.The tumor inhibitive rate,body immunity,and the activities of superoxide dismutase(SOD) and content of malondialdehyde(MDA) in myocardium in mice were observed.Result In LD group 1 the growth of S180 sarcoma was more slow significantly than that in ADM group(P<0.05).Compared with the control group the proliferation of spleen lymthocytes and activities of natural kill cells(NK) were significantly reduced(P<0.05),while in LD group 1 and 2 those were increased significantly(P<0.05).Compared with the control group SOD activities was decreased and MDA content was increased in ADM group(P<0.05),while in LD group 1 SOD activities were increased(P<0.05)and MDA content was decreased(P<0.05).Conclusion Liujunzi Decoction can promote the tumor inhibitive effect of ADM,improve the body immunity and reduce the toxic and side reactions of chemiotherapy.
摘要:Objective To set up a method of field-amplified sample stacking in capillary electrophoresis for detecting simultaneously strychnine and brucine-effective toxic composition in Gujinwan Capsules.Methods The uncoated fused-silica capillary column(50 μm×57 cm,with effective length of 50 cm) was chosen as separation channel.The running buffer was 20 mmol/L sodium acetate(pH 3.8),running voltage was 20 kV,injection voltage was 20 kV and injection time was 25 seconds.The sample was flushed with hydraulic pressure of 3.5 kPa and for 3 seconds before electrokinetic injection.The ultraviolet detection wavelength was 260 nm.ResultsThe detection sensitivities of strychnine and brucine were increased by 600 and 400 times respectively with this method.Strychnine showed a good linear relationship at range of 14.8 μg940.0 μg/L(r=0.999 8) with the limit of detection of 1.48 μg/L and average recovery of 98.5%(RSD=1.9%).Brucine showed a good linear relationship at range of 17.2 μg1090.0 μg/L(r=0.999 9) with the limit of detection of 2.58 μg/L and average recovery of 98.5%(RSD=1.8%).Conclusion The method is simple and convenient with higher enrichment efficiency,which is a new and reliable analysis for the quality control and clinical monitoring of Gujinwan Capsules.

摘要:Objective To investigate the main osseous causes of intervertebral foramen stenosis in patients with nerve root cervical spondylosis.Method X-ray examinations were given to 69 patients with nerve root cervical spondylosis,and at first intervertebral foramen stenosis was examined by bouble oblique X-ray view.The different causes of intervertebral foramen stenosis,including hyperosteogeny of luschka joints,abnormal ubiety of zygapophyseal joints,hyperosteogeny of zygapophyseal joints and stenosis of disc space,were classified and counted.Result The abnormal ubiety of zygapophyseal joints was the major cause of intervertebral foramen stenosis(accounted for 94.1%,of it simple abnormal ubiety of zygapophyseal joints accounted for 42.0% and other causes,52.1%).The abnormal ubiety of zygapophyseal joints was seen commonly in C5-6 and C6-7.Conclusion The abnormal ubiety of zygapophyseal joints is the first osseous cause of intervertebral foramen stenosis of nerve root cervical spondylosis,which can be qualitatively diagnosed by 45° oblique X-ray and should be paid attention in clinic.
摘要:Objective To discuss the relationship between syndrome types of stoke and imaging diagnosis.Methods The hospitalized stroke patients(n=100) with rigorous TCM disease diagnosis and syndrome diagnosis were chosen and given CT and/or MR scanning at the same time.The correlation between brain CT and/or MR scanning and disease diagnosis or syndrome diagnosis was calculated and analyzed.Results In the patients with stroke involving meridians single or multiple lacunar infarctions were common in the results of CT or MR scanning,the lesion was small in size and the less involved the brainstem or thalamus.The TCM syndromes of wind-phlegm stasis,qi deficiency and blood stasis or wind-stirring induced by yin-deficiency were common in syndrome diagnosis.In the patients with stroke involving zang-fu the cerebral hemorrhage,large area infarction and infarction accompanied by hemorrhage were common,the lesion was large in size and the most involved the brainstem or thalamus.The TCM syndrome of consciousness confused by phlegm-damp was common in syndrome diagnosis.Conclusion The outcomes of brain CT and/or MR scanning are correlated affirmatively to the disease diagnosis of TCM symptomatology and to some syndrome diagnoses.The combination of disease diagnosis and syndrome diagnosis is useful in the diagnosis and treatment of stroke in clinic.

摘要:Objective To investigate the curative effect and safety of modified Chaihuniubang Decoction for treating subacute thyroiditis.Method All patients(n=150) with subacute thyroiditis were randomly divided into the treatment group treated with modified Chaihuniubang Decoction(n=100) and the control group treated with Ibuprofen Capsules(n=50).Two groups were observed for 8 weeks and followed up for 3 months after the treatment stopped.The time for relieving symptoms and signs,curative effects,treatment course,safety and incidence rate and recurrent rate of hypothyroidism were compared in two groups.Result The effective rate of the treatment group was 100% and that of the control group,94%.There was a significant difference between two groups(P<0.05).In the treatment group the time for relieving pain and swelling of thyroid gland was(7.14±0.13) days and(8.90±0.59) days respectively with a significant difference compared to the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in defervescence time between two groups(P>0.05).The treatment course was(37.85±0.89) days in the treatment group and(47.33±1.35) days in the control group with a significant difference(P<0.05).The result of follow-up showed that the incidence rate of hypothyroidism was 16% in the treatment group and 28% in the control group,and the treatment group had no recurrent case and the control group had 2 recurrent cases.The adverse reaction was not observed in the treatment group.Conclusion Modified Chaihuniubang Decoction has a good curative effect on subacute thyroiditis with a shorter treatment course,lower incidence rate and lower of recurrent rate of hypothyroidism,and without obvious adverse reaction.

摘要:Objective To observe the effect of Zhikang Capsules in the conservative treatment of periappendicular abscess.Method The patients(n=64) with periappendicular abscess were randomly divided into two groups,including Zhikang Capsules group(n=32) treated with Zhikang Capsules combined with antibiotics,and the control group(n=32) treated with antibiotics only.The patients were observed for two weeks and the curative effects of two groups were calculated.Result The total effective rate was 96.88% in Zhikang Capsules group and 81.25% in the control group.The difference between curative effects of two groups was significant greatly.Zhikang Capsules group was better than the control group in abdominal mass extinction and fever relief.Conclusion Zhikang Capsules has significant curative effect in the treatment of periappendicular abscess.
