摘要:Qualitative research is a kind of research method compared to quantitative research,which is used for finding out the attitude,belief,motivation and behaviors of objective group on something. In recent years the qualitative research method is applied in international medical field progressively. There are limitations in a single quantitative research designed for reflecting the advantages and characteristics of TCM therapies,while qualitative research can make up the faults of quantitative research in some ways. Among patients with tumor at home and abroad the proportion of those treated with Chinese medicine is increasing. To introduce qualitative research to the prevention and treatment of tumor with Chinese medicine will be helpful to know the attitude,belief and experience of the patients with tumor for remedying the disadvantage of quantitative research. The later can only reflect digital information. Qualitative research will enrich the content and approach of TCM clinical curative effect review,and complement the system of proof in TCM clinical study. It is worth trying for the application of qualitative research in the prevention and treatment of tumor with Chinese medicine.
摘要:ObjectiveTo study the relative rules among the ingredients of Dangguishaoyao Powder and provide a basis for further research.MethodThe relative rules among the ingredients of Dangguishaoyao Powder were studied by applying data mining technology,including neural networks,decision tree,association rules and clustering analysis,and software of SPSS Clementine and SPSS. The database of ingredient combinations of Dangguishaoyao Powder was established through retrieving the formulas related to the ingredients of Dangguishaoyao Powder from the Database of Chinese Formulas.ResultIn the aspect of mutual support rating,Radix Angelicae Sinensis to Radix Paeoniae Alba,and Radix Paeoniae Alba to Radix Angelicae Sinensis showed a stronger support rating; Poria to Rhizoma Atractylodis Alba,Rhizoma Ligutici to Radix Angelicae Sinensis,Radix Angelicae Sinensis to Rhizoma Ligutici,Rhizoma Atractylodis Alba to Poria,and Rhizoma Alismatis to Poria showed a strong support rating. In the aspect of contribution rating to the whole formula,Radix Angelicae Sinensis>Poria>Radix Paeoniae Alba>Rhizoma Ligutici>Rhizoma Atractylodis Alba>Rhizoma Alismatis. The outcomes of clustering analysis showed that Rhizoma Alismatis had the strongest relevancy to the whole formula of Dangguishaoyao Powder.ConclusionIn Dangguishaoyao Powder Radix Angelicae Sinensis,Poria and Radix Paeoniae Alba are the main ingredients,Rhizoma Alismatis is characterized ingredient,and Rhizoma Ligutici and Rhizoma Atractylodis Alba play important roles.

摘要:ObjectiveTo investigate the molecular mechanism of Danpu Capsules in treating chronic prostatitis.MethodsThe influence of Danpu Capsules on the expression of nerve growth factors (NGF) of prostate tissue in experimental autoimmune prostatitis model was observed. The rat model of experimental autoimmune prostatitis was established by using the method of modified and purified rat prostate protein combined with immune adjuvant,and then the rats were randomly divided into the Danpu Capsules group,Qianleitai group,model group and normal group. After 10-week medicine administration the rats were killed and the prostate tissue was taken for the observation of histomorphological changes of prostate with the light microscope in all groups. The NGF level of prostate tissue was detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and the expression of NGF-mRNA was determined by real-time reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR).ResultsThe result of ELISA showed that the NGF level of the model group was higher significantly than that of the normal group (P<0.05). After medicine administration the NGF level of the Danpu Capsules group was decreased significantly (P<0.05). The result of real-time RT-PCR showed that the rat model of autoimmune prostatitis had higher expression of NGF-mRNA,while in the Danpu Capsules group this expression was inhibited (P<0.05).ConclusionThe mechanism of treating autoimmune prostatitis with Danpu Capsules may be related to that Danpu Capsules can inhibit NGF expression of prostate tissue.
摘要:ObjectiveTo discuss the mechanism of Yanshen Granules 1 in antagonism of renal ischemia and reperfusion injury.MethodThe rats (n=72) were randomly divided into the sham-operation group,control group and treatment group (each n=24). The treatment group was given Yanshen Granules 1,and the sham-operation group and control group were given same quantity of tap water. The changes of renal function indexes (BUN an Cr),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) and intercellular adhesion molecules-1 (ICAM-1) were detected after renal ischemia for 1 hour,and after reperfusion for 24 and 48 hours.ResultIn the sham-operation group there were slight expressions of TNF-α and ICAM-1 observed in renal tubular epithelial cells,while in the treatment group and control group the expressions of TNF-α and ICAM-1 increased and had significant difference after renal ischemia and reperfusion for 24 and 48 hours (P<0.01). The expressions of TNF-α and ICAM-1 decreased in the treatment group compared with those in the control group,and had no significant difference after renal ischemia for 1 hour (P>0.05) but had significant difference after reperfusion for 24 and 48 hours (P<0.01).ConclusionYanshen Granules 1 can protect renal function and inhibit the expressions of TNF-α and ICAM-1 in rats with renal ischemia and reperfusion injury.
摘要:ObjectiveTo investigate the method of establishing model of slippery pulse in miniature pigs by modern medical approaches based on the similar characteristics of circulation system of miniature pig as those of human.MethodsAdult Chinese experimental miniature pigs (n=6) were chosen and anesthetized with pentobarbital sodium,and then pulse position was set. After pulse-taking the normal sphygmogram,2-lead electrocardiogram (ECG) and parameters of hemodynamics were taken synchronously by NX-8 pulse diagnostic instrument. The model was established by injections of glonoin and low molecular dextran in the vena auricularis magna. The general conditions (heart rate and skin colour) and fingle pulse changes were observed,and sphygmogram and 2-lead ECG were recorded synchronously. After the pulse changed,the heart rate at different time points,HB,Sup,Sdown,HE/HB,TW and TB were recorded. The parameters of hemodynamics were collected.ResultsThe model was established successfully in 6 miniature pigs with obvious slippery pulse. The changes of sphygmogram was significant. Compared with those before model establishment,HB,Sup,Sdown and HE/HB all had significant differences (all P<0.01,except Sdown with P<0.05). The parameters of hemodynamics all had significant differences too.ConclusionThe model of slippery pulse was established successfully in miniature pigs by the method of remedies administrated to change hemodynamics and influence pulse. The method is reliable and easy with repeatability,feasibility and less injury by using miniature pig in pulse diagnostic research.
摘要:Yin deficiency and yang deficiency are common TCM syndromes in clinic. The study on the pathogenesis,classification and material base of them will be helpful to diagnosis,treatment and prognosis of diseases. The study and application of animal state model are very important to the relevant researches. The pathological characteristics and experimental situation of animal model of yin deficiency or yang deficiency induced by glucocorticoid were analyzed and summed up based on review of defining concept and modern virtual expression of yin deficiency or yang deficiency state,combined with the knowledge of side effects of glucocorticoid by TCM theory. The study is to raise the thinking on the diagnosis and evaluation of yin deficiency or yang deficiency state model induced by glucocorticoid from the angle of diseases cause-pathology,symptoms-objective indexes,and treatment with formulas and drugs-disproof,which was expected to provide references for standard researches,and spread and application of this kind of state model.

摘要:ObjectiveTo study the effective mechanism of hydroxyl saffloryellow-A(HSY-A) for antagonizing subcutaneous transplantation tumor of human gastric adenocarcinoma cell line BGC-823 in nude mice at an overall level.MethodsHuman gastric adenocarcinoma cell line BGC-823 was cultured,and when the activity and quantity were accorded with inoculation requirement,they were inoculated subcutaneously in the right anterior armpit of nude mice (n=30) for establishing the model of transplantation tumor. All mice were randomly divided into the model group,cyclophosphamide (CY) group,high-dose HSY-A group (1.40 mg/kg),medium-dose HSY-A group (0.70 mg/kg) and low-dose HSY-A group (0.35 mg/kg). After 20 days the transplantation tumor was peeled off from nude mice. The pathological and ultrastructure changes of tumor tissue were observed with the light microscope and transmission electron microscope (TEM),and the tumor cell apoptosis and cell cycle were detected by flow cytometry.ResultsIn the model group the growth and weight of transplantation tumor were faster and higher than those in the low-dose HSY-A group and CY group (P<0.05). In the low-dose HSY-A group the cell apoptosis was observed,and compared with the model group the difference of apoptosis rate had statistical significance (P<0.01),cell cycle had no obvious changes. In the same group the pathological deteriorated severity of tumor tissue observed with the light microscope was lower than that in the model group,and apoptotic bodies were observed in tumor cell with TEM.ConclusionHSY-A in certain dose has some inhibitory effects on tumor,and one of the mechanisms may be related to that HSY-A can induce the apoptosis of tumor cell.

摘要:ObjectiveTo study the characteristics of gene expressions of transforming growth factor-β (TGF-β) and Bmp/Smad signal pathway in adrenal gland in mice bearing H22 liver cancer with different syndromes.MethodsThe standardized four diagnostic methods and syndrome differentiation methods,and GeneChip Mouse Exon 1.0 ST Array were used to detect the differences of gene expressions of adrenal gland in 4 syndromes,including evil-toxin exuberance syndrome and qi-deficiency syndrome in mice bearing H22 on 8th day of inoculation (early stage),yang-qi-deficiency syndrome on 21st day of inoculation (medium stage),and qi-yin-yang-deficiency syndrome on 29th day (medium and late stage). The similarity and different characteristics of gene expression model of Smad signal pathway in adrenal gland of different syndromes were analyzed by hierarchical clustering method.ResultsIn terms of syndromes,the gene expression model of evil-toxin exuberance syndrome and that of qi-deficiency syndrome were similar,and that of yang-qi-deficiency syndrome and that of qi-yin-yang-deficiency syndrome were similar. In terms of genes,the genes of TGF-βr 1,2 and 3 had similar expression model,Smad 2 and Smad 4,and Bmp 1 and Bmp 4 had similar expression model respectively. In Smad signal pathway,TGF-β accepter and Bmp accepter were higher than those of TGF-β and Bmp genes.ConclusionThe most genes of Smad signal pathway in adrenal gland were activated in mice bearing H22 liver cancer with different syndromes indicated by chip data,and the model of gene expression may be related to different syndromes.
摘要:ObjectiveTo study the protective effect of Tongluojiannao Capsules on neurocytes in rats after focal cerebral ischemia and reperfusion.MethodsThe rat model of focal cerebral ischemia and reperfusion was established by using suture method. The cytochrom C (Cyt C) of neurocyte was detected by immunohistochemistry assay,and the expressions of apoptosis cells were marked with TUNEL.ResultsIn the Tongluojiannao Capsules group the expression of Cyt C was weakly positive after cerebral ischemia and reperfusion for 6 hours with statistical significance compared with that in the model group or nimodipine group (P<0.01). The comparison of the expression of Cyt C between the Tongluojiannao Capsules group and model group or sham-operation group was not significant statistically (P>0.05) after cerebral ischemia and reperfusion for 12 and 24 hours. In the model group the apoptosis of hippocampus neurocytes reached the peak 24 hours after cerebral ischemia and reperfusion,and in the Tongluojiannao Capsules group the expressions of apoptosis neurocytes were weak. There was a statistical significance between two groups (P<0.01).ConclusionTongluojiannao Capsules can affect the release of neurocyte Cyt C,and induce the apoptosis of brain cells after cerebral ischemia and reperfusion.
摘要:ObjectiveTo establish a high performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (HPLC-MS) for determining the plasma concentrations of multiple bile acids,comparing the pharmacokinetic course of bile acid of natural Calculus Bovis or Angongniuhuang Pills in mice,and to analyze the cause of different effects.MethodsThe capillary blood collection method was used to collect the whole blood samples (20 μL) from mice,and then the protein in the samples were deposited directly with acetonitrile,in which the plasma concentrations of multiple bile acids were detected by HPLC-MS. The tissue of lung and brain were taken,and then homogenized and centrifuged to obtain supernatant for detecting tissue distribution after protein precipitation.ResultsThe linear range of multiple bile acids was at 44 000 mg/L,the lowest detective concentration was 4 mg/L,and inter-day precision and intra-day precision were all lower than 10.0%. After mice were fed,the area under curves (AUC) and distribution in lung tissue of taurocholic acid and taurochenodeoxycholic acid in Angongniuhuang Pills were higher than those in natural Calculus Bovis in mouse body.The distribution of bile acid and taurocholic acid in brain tissue was higher than that of natural Calculus Bovis.ConclusionThe method has a higher sensitivity and specificity,which can be used in the study of pharmacokinetics of bile acids in vitro and in vivo. Some constituents of non-Calculus Bovis in Angongniuhuang Pills can improve the Absorption and tissue distribution of bile acid of natural Calculus Bovis.
摘要:ObjectiveTo study the stability of valeportriate in different solvents.MethodThe content changes of valeportriate in the monomeric state and in different extracts from Valeriana jatamansi Jones. were detected by HPLC.ResultThe content of valeportriate had slight change in chloroform and Absolute ethyl alcohol,the fastest degradation in 90% methanol,and produced baldrinal in 90% methanol and 90% ethanol.ConclusionThe stability of valeportriate is different greatly in different solvents.
摘要:ObjectiveTo observe the curative effect of acupuncture in Back-shu points of Bladder Meridian on chronic fatigue syndrome (CDS) and its influence on electromyography.MethodThe patients with CDS (n=72) were randomly divided into the treatment group treated with acupuncture in Back-shu points and the control group treated with traditional acupuncture. The changes of clinical symptoms and electromyography were observed before and after the treatment.ResultThe changes of clinical symptoms and electromyography were significantly different before and after the treatment in two groups respectively,and there was significant difference between tow groups (P<0.05 or P<0.01).ConclusionThe therapy of acupuncture in Back-shu points of Bladder Meridian can relieve effectively the clinical symptoms and signs of CDS.
