摘要:The research methods of disease classification of TCM syndromes and syndrome elements extraction were explored through applying the statistical methods of several latent variable models.The blind analysis and data treatment were conducted on the field survey material of 1 280 cases of hypertension.The author presented the research idea of TCM syndrome elements of disease-syndrome combination,i.e.on the base of clinical epidemiological overall information survey,several research methods were applied,including factor analysis model and structural equation model in latent variable models,and graded response model in item response theory and latent class model.The result indicated that the analysis methods of variable models were suitable for the research on disease classification according to TCM syndromes and syndrome elements extraction.
摘要:Objective To deeply describe the process of TCM physician-patient communication by applying the sociology qualitative methods and to determine the influences of relevant non-numerical factors on patients during the diagnosis and treatment process.Methods The individual depth interview was carried out in 25 patients,who were seeking for TCM treatment,by applying semi-structured interview guideline.The theme analysis was used in material qualitative study.Results The themes emerged after the analysis included medical choices,physician-patient relationship and treatment adherence.The factors influencing patients’ choices included original intention and way for seeing physicians,and desire for ideal TCM physicians and ideal TCM treatment.Good physician-patient relationship from which the patients were benefited and trust between physician and patient were the important factors for the formation of physician-patient relationship.Physicians’ suggestions,curative effect,family support and various difficulties were main factors influencing patients’ treatment adherence.Conclusion Patients value the curative effect of Chinese medicine,and the curative effect decides the physician-patient relationship and treatment adherence.Patients prefer to be treated by the physicians with higher therapeutic skills and noble ethic and put more emphasis on physician’s attitude and medical care quality.They hope a good physician-patient relationship and effective communication.Many links in the course of seeking medical care by patients may influence the treatment adherence.

摘要:Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of classical combined formula-Xijiaodihuang Decoction combined with Yinqiao Powder on influenza viral pneumonia in mice,and analysis the relationship between viral titer and pathological changes in lung tissue.Methods ICR mice(n=120) were randomly divided into the normal group,model group,three groups with different doses of Xijiaodihuang Decoction combined with Yinqiao Powder and ribavirin group.The mouse model of viral pneumonia infected influenza virus mouse lung-adapted strain was established by inoculating intranasally 50LD50(25 μL) viral suspension in all groups except the normal group.After the infection for one hour,the normal group and control group were intragastrically given double distilled water;the high-dose,mid-dose and low-dose groups were intragastrically given Xijiaodihuang Decoction combined with Yinqiao Powder [46 g/(kg·d),23 g/(kg·d) and 11.5 g/(kg·d) respectively].The ribavirin group was injected intraperitoneally ribavirin [0.1 g/(kg·d)].All groups were treated twice a day and for 7 days.The survival rate,average survival days,body weight and temperature changes were observed everyday until to the 14th day.BALB/c mice(n=72) were randomly divided into the normal group,model group,group with middle dose of Xijiaodihuang Decoction combined with Yinqiao Powder(mid-dose group) and ribavirin group.On the 2nd,4th and 6th day of infection,the viral HA titer in lung homogenate and pathological changes of lung tissue under the optical microscope and electron microscope were observed dynamically.Results The clinical equivalent dose(middle dose) of Xijiaodihuang Decoction combined with Yinqiao Powder decreased significantly the mortality,prolonged the survival time,increased the bodyweight and elevated temperature in mice with viral pneumonia.In the model group the viral titer in lung reached the peak on the 2nd day,and then decreased significantly,but the pathological changes of lung tissue reached the peak on the 6th day.The viral titer was decreased in lung homogenate in the mid-dose group on the 2nd day,which on the 4th and 6th day had no significant difference compared with the model group.On the 6th day Xijiaodihuang Decoction combined with Yinqiao Powder relieved significantly the inflammation of lung tissue in infected mice.Conclusion Xijiaodihuang Decoction combined with Yinqiao Powder has an apparent therapeutic effect on influenza viral pneumonia in mice.The major effect is to inhibit inflammatory cascade rather than anti-viral effect.

摘要:Objective To discuss the influence of Xianmao(Rhizoma Curculiginis,with the nature of pungent-hot) on liver medicinal metabolic enzyme in deficiency cold rats on the base of the observation on improvement of neuroendocrine function by Xianmao.Methods SD rats were randomly divided into the blank group,model group,and high-dose(30 g/kg),mid-dose(20 g/kg) and low-dose(10 g/kg) groups of Xianmao.The rat model of deficiency cold was established by intramuscularly injecting hydrocortisone(3.75 mg/kg).The activity of cytochrome P4503A(CYP3A) liver of medicinal metabolic enzyme was detected by using ilotycin-N-demethylase method.The content of plasma cAMP and cGMP were detected by applying radioimmunoassay.The expressions of pregnane X receptor(PXR) and protein kinase A(PKA) in liver were detected by using Western blotting and immunohistochemistry respectively.Results In deficiency cold rats the activity of medicinal metabolic enzyme decreased,the content of cAMP and cGMP were reduced and the expressions of PXR and PKA were decreased.In three groups of Xianmao the activity of CYP3A and the content of cAMP were increased,the expressions of PXR and PKA were improved,but the content of cGMP was not influented.Conclusion Xianmao can ameliorate the hypofunction of metabolism in the state of deficiency cold through regulating cAMP-PKA signal pathway,which indicates a part of medicinal essence of pungent-hot nature.

摘要:Objective To explore the pathogenesis of post-cerebroischemia depression and the mechanism of interventional effects of Yinaojieyu Formula(with the actions of tonifying kidney and regulating qi) based on PI-3K/Akt signal pathway.Methods Male Wistar rats(n=100) were randomly divided into the normal group,model group,sham-operation group,Chinese medicinal group and Western medicinal group(each n=20) after open-field scoring.The normal and sham-operation group were fed routinely.The model group,Chinese medicinal group and Western medicinal group were given cortical devascularization and after 7 days the model of post-cerebroischemia depression was established by chronic anpredictable mild stress and isolation rearing method for 21 days.Then the Chinese medicinal group was given Yinaojieyu Formula intragastrically and Western medicinal group was given fluoxertine hydrochloride intragastrically once a day for 6 weeks,respectively.The ethological review was carried out by the sucrose consumption,open-field scoring and Morris water maze after intragastric gavage.The changes of PI-3K and Akt content and the intervention of Yinaojieyu Formula were detected by applying Western blotting analysis.Results The content of PI-3K and Akt increased significantly in the prefrontal cortex and hippocampus in the model group compared to the normal group,and decreased significantly in the Chinese medicinal group and Western medicinal group.Conclusion The onset of post-cerebroischemia depression may be related to PI-3K/Akt signal pathway,on which Yinaojieyu Formula and fluoxertine hydrochloride have interventional effects.PI-3K/Akt signal pathway may be the therapeutic target of post-cerebroischemia depression by Chinese and Western medicine.

摘要:Objective To observe the changes of serum superoxide dismutase(SOD),malondialdehyde(MDA) and total antioxidant capacity(T-AOC) in rabbit model of the third lumbar transverse process syndrome,and explore the mechanism of the intervention of acupotomy therapy.Methods Japanese rabbits(n=30) were randomly divided into the normal group,model group,acupotomy group,electroacupunture group and acupotomy-electroacupunture group(each n=6).The model of the third lumbar transverse process syndrome was established by embedding gelatin sponge into the posterior of the left third lumbar transverse process in all groups except the normal group.After 15 days the acupotomy group and electroacupunture group were given the intervention in bilateral Weizhong(BL40) by acupotomy or electroacupunture respectively,and the acupotomy-electroacupunture group was given the intervention of acupotomy and electroacupunture simultaneously.On the 28th day after modeling,the blood samples were collected from the abdominal aorta of the rabbits for detecting the changes of serum SOD,MDA and T-AOC.The pathological changes of local tissue were observed after HE staining.Results In the model group the activities of serum SOD and T-AOC decreased significantly and MDA level increased significantly with a statistical difference(P<0.01,P<0.05).The levels of SOD,T0AOC and MDA were not different in the acupotomy group,electroacupunture group and acupotomy-electroacupunture group compared with those in the normal group(P>0.05).In the acupotomy group the activities of SOD and T-AOC increased significantly and MDA level decreased significantly compared with those in the model group(P<0.05).The activity of SOD increased significantly in the electroacupunture group and acupotomy-electroacupunture group compared with that in the model group(P<0.05,P<0.01).The level of MDA decreased significantly in the acupotomy-electroacupunture group compared with that in the model group(P<0.05).The HE staining showed that there were obvious inflammatory reaction in local tissue in the model group and that were relieved in the acupotomy group,electroacupunture group and acupotomy-electroacupunture group.Conclusion The intervention of acupotomy therapy or(and) electroacupunture can clear off excessive oxygen free radical in the body,prevent the tissue from further injury and improve the recovery of damaged tissue through relieving local inflammatory reactions,increasing the activities of serum SOD and T-AOC,and decreasing serum MDA level.The effect of acupotomy therapy is better than that of electroacupunture.

摘要:Objective To discuss the influences of Roucongrong(Herba Cistanchis) on hematopoietic function and immune function in tumor-bearing mice after chemotherapy.Methods After the model of mouse bearing H22 tumor was established,all mice were randomly divided into the control group,5-fluorouridine group(5-Fu group),and groups of high-dose Roucongrong and 5-Fu(high-dose+5-Fu group) and mid-dose Roucongrong and 5-Fu(mid-dose+5-Fu group,each n=10).On the 2nd day of modeling each group was treated with relevant medicinal for 10 days.The peripheral hemogram,count of bone marrow nucleated cells,bone marrow DNA,indexes of spleen and thymus gland,activities of natural killer cells(NK),and the proliferation of lymphocytes were observed on the 2nd day of stopping medicinal administration.Results Roucongrong inhibited the decrease of the counts of WBC,platelets and bone marrow nucleated cells,and bone marrow DNA induced by chemotherapeutants(P<0.05,P<0.01).Roucongrong,at the same time,increased the indexes of spleen and thymus gland,and improved the proliferation of lymphocytes and NK activities(P<0.05,P<0.01).Conclusion Roucongrong has a good protective effect on hematopoietic function and immune function in tumor-bearing mice after chemotherapy.
摘要:Objective To investigate the relationship between cold phlegm syndrome,heat phlegm syndrome and the changes cytology and microbiology in sputum.Methods The sputum samples were collected from the patients with cold phlegm syndrome(n=30) and heat phlegm syndrome(n=30) in the morning,and then stained by HE staining and Gram’s staining respectively.The cell count and changes of microbiology in sputum were observed with the microscope and the results were analysed.Results The cell types and microbiological changes were significantly different between cold phlegm syndrome and heat phlegm syndrome.The proportions of ciliated columnar cells and phagocytes increased significantly in cold phlegm(P<0.05) and the proportions of neutrophils and eosinophils increased significantly in heat phlegm(P<0.05).The proportion of Gram-positive cocci increased significantly in heat phlegm(P<0.05).Conclusion The observation results of cytological and microbiological changes in sputum showed the same regularity as that in TCM syndrome differentiation and there is a difference in syndrome types.The study may promote the accuracy of TCM syndrome differentiation in clinic,provide more accurate reference and improve curative effect.
摘要:Objective To establish a HPLC characteristic spectrum of aqueous extracts from Bohe (Herba Menthae),and provide a scientific method for the quality control and evaluation of Bohe material.Methods The HPLC procedure was performed on a column of Waters symmetry Shield C18 (4.6 mm × 250 mm,5 μm) using methanol and 0.2 formic acid solution as the mobile phase in the gradient elution.The flow rate was 1.0 mL/min and detection wavelength was 296 nm.The column temperature was set at 30 ℃.Results There were totally 17 common peaks in the HPLC characteristic spectrum of aqueous extracts from Bohe.Conclusion The method has higher stability,accuracy and repeatability,which can be used in the quality control and evaluation of Bohe material.

摘要:Objective To investigate the correlation between two clinical stages of primary dyslipidemia and TCM constitutional characteristics.Methods The cases(n=230) were divided into the subclinical stage group(with primary dyslipidemia,n=122) and complication group(with primary dyslipidemia combined with CHD or cerebral infarction,n=108) by using case-control method.The cases without primary dyslipidemia(n=130) were assigned to the control group.The clinical and constitutional information,and TCM constitutional characteristics in two clinical stages of all cases were collected and analysed with multiple Logistic regression.Results The constituent ratio of constitutions in two groups had statistical difference(P<0.05).In the subclinical stage group primary dyslipidemia was correlated to normal constitution,phlegm-damp constitution and yang deficiency constitution,and in the complication group primary dyslipidemia was correlated to normal constitution,yin deficiency constitution,phlegm-damp constitution and blood stasis constitution.Conclusion The phlegm-damp constitution and yang deficiency constitution are risk ones in the patients with primary dyslipidemia in subclinical stage,and yin deficiency constitution,phlegm-damp constitution and blood stasis constitution are risk ones in the patients with primary dyslipidemia combined with CHD or cerebral infarction.The normal constitution is a protective one in the patients in two clinical stages.

摘要:Objective To review the curative effects and safety of Chinese medicinal compound formula-Mimenghua Formula on TCM symptoms of diabetic retinopathy in nonproliferative stage.Methods The patients(n=63) were divided into the Mimenghua Formula group(n=31) and control group(n=32).On the base of treatment of diabetic medicinal,the Mimenghua Formula group was treated with Mimenghua Formula and the control group was treated with calcium dobesilate for 3 months.The indexes of TCM symptoms,hemorrheology,liver function and kidney function,which reflected the medicinal safety,were observed regularly before and after the treatment.Results In the Mimenghua Formula group the number of patients whose TCM symptoms were relieved and the patients were in stable condition without worse were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.01).The total effective rate was 96.77%.The shear rate(30/s) decreased(P<0.05) and there were no patients with the decrease of liver function and kidney function in the Mimenghua Formula group.Conclusion Mimenghua Formula can reduce the blood viscosity,and relieve the whole and local symptoms in the patients with diabetic retinopathy in nonproliferative stage.There were no patients with lesions of liver function and kidney function.Mimenghua Formula is effective and safe.

摘要:Objective To discuss the correlation between MRI manifestations and the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS) or TCM syndrome factors in ischemic stroke of acute stage.Methods The cases of ischemia stroke(n=66) hospitalized by emergency were selected and given MRI examination,NIHSS scoring and TCM syndrome factor scoring.The MRI manifestations were divided into the brain stem group,cerebellar group,lobe group,thalamus group and basal ganglia group according to the focuses,and also divided into the lacunar infarction group,mid-or-small-area group and large-area group according to the infarction size.The correlation between MRI manifestations and NIHSS scores or syndrome factors were compared and analysed.Results In the relation between NIHSS scores and the focuses or size manifested by MRI,only basal ganglia group and lacunar infarction group were rated as mild in NIHSS scoring,and other groups had no significant and statistical difference(P>0.05).In the relation between MRI manifestations and syndrome factors,different focuses and size were significantly correlated to various syndrome factors(P<0.05).In the lacunar infarction group,mid-or-small-area group and large-area group,wind syndrome,phlegm syndrome and fire-heat syndrome were the most common ones.When infarction size increased,the proportion of qi deficiency syndrome and syndrome of yin deficiency with yang hyperactivity increased too.Conclusion The correlation between syndrome factors and MRI manifestations is more significantly compared that between NIHSS scoring and MRI manifestations.The technology of diffusion weighted imaging(DWI) of MRI can be taken as the index for helping diagnosing TCM syndromes,and it is important in the treatment of acute stroke with Chinese combined with Western medicine.

摘要:Objective To observe the curative effect of the therapy of tonifing kidney and activating blood circulation combined with Western medicinal on renal osteodystrophy(ROD).Methods The randomized block method was used to divide 60 patients into the treatment group(n=30)treated with the granules with the actions of tonifing kidney and activating blood circulation and complicated therapeutic plan,and control group(n=30) treated with complicated therapeutic plan only.The observation period was 12 weeks.The levels of serum parathyroid hormone(PTH) and bone-specific alkaline phosphatase(BAP) were detected respectively before and after the treatment.The changes of TCM symptomatology were reviewed by using scoring method.Results The total effect rate of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group.The levels of serum PTH and BAP decreased significantly in the treatment group but not changed in the control group.Conclusion The therapy of tonifing kidney and activating blood circulation combined with Western medicinal has good curative effect on ROD,which can relieve hyperparathyroidism and treat metabolic bone disease in ROD patients.

摘要:The paper expounded initially the importance and methods of preventing asymptomatic hyperuricemia by dietary conditioning from the aspects of regulating daily diet structure and TCM throught of preventive treatment of disease.The author also explored TCM thinking of differentiating and treating asymptomatic hyperuricemia through learning from the TCM experience on treating arthrolithiasis and referring to modern pharmacological research.The thinking and methods were provided for daily prevention and clinical treatment of asymptomatic hyperuricemia in order to maximize the advantages of TCM,reduce medical cost and protect public health.
