摘要:The paper investigated the theoretical base of TCM turbid disease doctrine firstly,and indicated the physical and pathological meanings of turbid.The author believed that turbid pathogen was main pathogenesis of metabolic syndrome.There is a special relationship between turbid diseases and metabolic syndrome,which should be studied systematically and deeply.The specific content of the study will be the premise and basis for establishing the TCM turbid disease doctrine of metabolic syndrome.The basic content and idea of the doctrine includes the concept definition of turbid yin,turbid pathogen and turbid diseases of metabolic syndrome,and physiology,pathology,diagnosis and therapeutics.

摘要:Objective To investigate the essential properties of the theory of traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) from the linguistic and logic aspects,reveal the linguistic basis of conceptual metaphor of TCM theory,and find out the original sources of these conceptual metaphors and their implication for us. Method The formation of TCM theory,and the logic,system,function of viscera and bowels,etiologypathogenesis,syndromes,medicinal features,formulas and experiences in TCM sciences were studied by applying metaphor theory.Result The formation of TCM sciences bases on body experience perceptions. The therapeutic logic in TCM sciences is a dynamic one united knowledge,faith and principles.There are two systems in TCM sciences-syndrome differentiation and treatment,and differentiation and treatment based on syndromes in formulas.The function of viscera and bowels is a mixture of physiology and designation,the etiology-pathogenesis is a conceptual metaphor due to"prototype",and diagnosis based on syndrome manifestations is an isomorphism of subjective and objective.The author considered that there was no so-called"essence of syndrome",four qi(medicinal properties) and five flavors(five tastes of medicinals) are some conceptual metaphors,and"experience"was hardly or must not be inherited. Conclusion The language of TCM sciences is one based on metaphor cognition.It will be the predominant work for most TCM theorists to analyse the language of TCM sciences for a long time.
摘要:The paper introduced briefly the research on relevant genes correlated to AIDS development,including chemokine receptor/chemokine receptor ligands,genetic polymorphism of human leukocyte antigens(HLA) and other intracellular factors.The internal relationship between genetic polymorphism and TCM was interpreted from the aspects of complexity and potential integrative of the research.The author believed that the TCM theory of syndrome manifestations and diagnosis of Western medicine could complement each other at a macroscopic level.The application of genomics technology will help to integrate the thinking of Chinese and Western medicine,and take part in the diagnosis and treatment of AIDS with TCM.
摘要:Objective To observe the influences of relaxing large intestine therapy on lung function,blood gas in rat model of chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases(COPD) ,and investigate the effective mechanism of treating COPD based on intestines.Method The rat model of COPD was established by applying intratracheal injection of LPS and smoking,and then the rats were randomly divided into the normal group,model group,lung group,intestine group and lung-intestine group.The normal group and model group were given normal saline solution intragastrically and other groups were given relevant medicinals for 14 days,respectively.The indexes of lung function and blood gas were detected.Result In the model group,compared with the normal group,the indexes of FVC,FEV 0.3,FEV 0.3 /FVC,FEF25-75,MMF and PEF,and arterial pH,PaO 2,SaO 2 decreased,and PaCO 2 increased(P<0.01 or P<0.05) .The lung function and indexes of blood gas were improved significantly in the intestine group compared with the model group(P<0.05) ,and improved further in the lung-intestine group compared with the lung group(P<0.05) .Conclusion The relaxing large intestine therapy or this therapy combined with treatment of lung can improve lung function and blood gas indexes in rat model of COPD.

摘要:Objective To compare and observe the effects of acupotomy or electroacupuncture on the content of brain cAMP and cGMP in rabbits with knee osteoarthritis(KOA) .Methods New Zealand rabbits(n=52) were randomly divided into the normal group,model group,acupotomy group and electroacupuncture group.The rabbit model of KOA was established by fixing rabbit knee straightly for 6 weeks,and then the rabbits were treated with acupotomy or electroacupuncture for 3 weeks.After the treatment finished for one week,the rabbit knee was reviewed by using the standard of articular local reaction and joint deformity of Lequesne MG method.The content changes of brain cAMP and cGMP were detected by applying radioimmunoassay.Results The percentage ofⅡ’rank of local joint reaction and joint deformity increased significantly in the model group compared with the normal group.The percentage ofⅠ’rank increased significantly in the acupotomy group and electroacupuncture group compared with the model group.After acupotomy treatment the content of cAMP in the hypothalamus andhippocampus decreased significantly,and after electroacupuncture treatment the content of cAMP decreased significantly in the hippocampus but did not changed in the hypothalamus.Although the content of cGMP in the hypothalamus and hippocampus tended to decrease in the model group compared with the normal group,there was no significant difference.The treatment of acupotomy or electroacupuncture had no obvious effects on the content of cGMP in the hypothalamus and hippocampus. Conclusion Acupotomy and electroacupuncture can relieve the articular local reactions and joint deformity,and inhibit the formation of cAMP in the hippocampus.Acupotomy can inhibit the formation of cAMP in the hypothalamus,while both therapies have no obvious effects on the content of cGMP in the hypothalamus and hippocampus.The results indicates that the two therapies can relieve the pain of KOA,and inhibit the injury of articular cartilage and functional changes,which may be related to the regulation of the two therapies on intracellular second messenger-cAMP in the hypothalamus and hippocampus.
摘要:Objective To investigate the internal mechanism of fluctuation of T 3 and T4 under the influences of seasonal variations.Methods Ten healthy volunteers were selected and the content of T3 and T4 in the blood samples collected from them were detected at 8 assigned solar terms.Meanwhile,rats were bought 40 days before the Summer Solstice and Winter Solstice,and then they were divided into the physiology group,sham-operation group and operation group according to their operation status.The rats were feed until to the day of the Summer Solstice and Winter Solstice and killed for detecting the content of T3 and T4.Results The content of T3 and T4 had significant variations in the healthy volunteers at the 8 solar terms showing higher in winter and spring,and lower in summer and autumn.The content of T 3 and T4 was significantly different between two solar terms of winter and summer in rats.There was the interactions between operations and solar terms.Conclusion The thyroid hormones have changes in winter and summer in healthy people.The animal experiment has proved that the change laws of thyroid hormones,showing higher in winter and lower in summer,are correlated closely to the up-regulation mechanism of pineal gland.

摘要:Objective To observe the influences of the formulas with the actions of replenishing qi,nourishing yin and activating blood circulation on the expressions of advanced glyclation end-products(AGEs) and mRNA of receptor of advanced glyclation end-products(RAGE-mRNA) in rats with diabetic nephropathy(DN) ,and to discuss the mechanism of the formulas in the treatment of DN. Methods The rat model of DN was established by the intraperitoneal injection of strepotozotocin(STZ) .All rats were randomly divided into the normal group,model group,Benazepril group and Chinese medicine group and all groups were given relevant medicinals respectively.After 8 weeks the content of AGEs were detected in the renal cortex in DN rats.The expression of AGEs was detected by using immunohistochemistry assay,and the expression of RAGE-mRNA was detected by using RT-PCR. Results The content of AGEs in the renal cortex increased significantly and RAGE-mRNA expressed excessively in DN rats.After treatment with the formulas for 8 weeks,the content of AGEs decreased significantly,from(513.26±97.2) AUF/mg to(417.35±89.9) AUF/mg,and the expression ofRAGE-mRNA decreased significantly,from(1.51±0.01) to(0.62±0.04) ,P<0.01.Conclusion The formulas with the actions of replenishing qi,nourishing yin and activating blood circulation can reduce the accumulation of AGEs in the renal cortex,and regulate downwards the over-expression of RAGE-mRNA in DN rats.

摘要:Objective To observe the interventional effects of two administration ways of Kuijie Decoction,gavage and enteroclysis,on the levels of serum interferon-γ(IFN-γ) and interleukin-4(IL-4) and ratio of IFN-γto IL-4.Methods All rats were randomly divided into the normal group(given distilled water) ,model group(given distilled water) ,olsalazine sodium control group(given olsalazine sodium) ,gavage group(intragastrical administration of Kuijie Decoction) and enteroclysis group(colonic administration of Kuijie Decoction) .The model was established by TNBS/ethanol method in all groups except the normal group(normal feeding) .After 7,14 and 28 days,the blood samples were collected respectively and the levels of serum IL-4 and IFN-γwere detected in rats of all groups by using ELISA.Results Kuijie Decoction administrated by two ways decreased significantly the level of serum IL-4 and increased the level of IFN-γ,regulated the ratio of IFN-γto IL-4,and inhibited ulcerative colitis(UC) tending to the inflammation mediated by Th1 cells.The effect of gavage was better than that of enteroclysis in acute stage of UC(P<0.05) and vice versa in middle and late stage. The comparison showed a statistical significance(P<0.05) .Conclusion Kuijie Decoction administrated by two ways has the same mechanism in the immunoregulation on UC.The effect of gavage was better than that of enteroclysis in acute stage and vice versa in middle and late stage.It will get better curativeeffect to change the administration way according to the stages of the disease.
摘要:Objective To study the changes of protein and gene expressions of brain IL-18 in spleendeficiency model and the interventional effects of Chinese herbal remedies with actions of replenishing qi and reinforce the healthy qi.Methods All rats(n=40) were randomly divided into the normal group,model group,treatment group 1(T group 1,treated with Sijunzi Decoction) and treatment group 2(T group 2,treated with Yupingfeng Powder,each n=10) .The spleen-deficiency model was established in rats by using the methods of purgation,improper diet and over strain.The indexes of immune organs were detected by applying weighing method.The changes of IL-18 protein and IL-18-mRNA expressions in the ventral nucleus of hypothalamus and CA1 zone of hippocampus and therapeutic effects of Sijunzi Decoction and Yupingfeng Powder were detected by applying immunohistochemistrical assay and in situ hybridization.Results In the model group the indexes of thymus and spleen,and IL-18 protein and IL-18-mRNA expressions all decreased significantly.In T group 1 and T group 2 the indexes of thymus and spleen,and IL-18 protein and IL-18-mRNA expressions all increased significantly.Conclusion Sijunzi Decoction and Yupingfeng Powder,with the actions of replenishing qi and reinforce the healthy qi,can regulate the immunologic function of the body through influencing immune organs and controlling the protein and gene expressions of brain IL-18.

摘要:Objective To observe the influences of Kuiyangping Decoction(KD) on the expressions of mRNA of vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF-mRNA) and VEGF receptor(Flt-1-mRNA) in gastric mucosa in rats with gastric ulcer(GU) ,and to discuss the mechanism.Method The model of chronic acetic-related GU was established by applying modified Okabe method,and then all rats were randomly divided into the normal group,model group,high-dose,mid-dose and low-dose KD groups(5.6,2.8,1.4 g/kg) and ranitidine hydrochloride group(28.3 mg/kg) .All groups were treated for 14 days.The expressions of VEGF-mRNA and Flt-1-mRNA were detected by using RT-PCR.Result In the mid-dose and high-dose KD groups,compared with the model group,the 2-ΔΔC T value of VEGF increased significantly,which indicated that the expression of VEGF-mRNA was regulated upwards with a statistical significance(P<0.05,P<0.001 respectively) .In the high-dose KD group the 2-ΔΔC T value of Flt-1 increased,which indicated that the expression of Flt-1-mRNA was regulated upwards with a statistical significance(P<0.001) .Conclusion KD can increase the expressions of VEGF-mRNA andFlt-1-mRNA in gastric mucosa in rats with GU,which may be one of molecular bases of improving the healing of GU and healing quality,and reducing recurrence of GU.
摘要:Objective To investigate the possible mechanism of anti-Alzheimer’s disease(AD) through studying the influences of Tongluojiunao Oral Solution(TOS) on the learning and memory ability and synaptophysin(SYP) expression in rat AD model.Methods Male SD rats were randomly divided into the blank group,sham-operation group,model group,donepezil hydrochloride group(DH group) and high-dose,mid-dose and low-dose TOS groups(12,24,48 mg/kg) .The rat model of AD was established by hippocampus stereotaxis injection of condensedβ-amyloid protein(β-AP 1-40 ) .After 4 weeks the period of find platform and times of passing through original platform were detected in rats by applying Morris water maze.The expression of SYP in hippocampus was detected by using Western blotting method,and the changes of hippocampus ultrastructure were observed with electron microscope.Results In the model group,compared with the sham-operation group,the average escape latency was longer significantly and times of crossing over original platform reduced significantly(all P<0.01) .In all TOS groups,compared with the model group,the average escape latency was shorter significantly and times of passing through original platform increased significantly(all P<0.01) .In the model group,comparedwith the sham-operation group,the SYP expression in hippocampus decreased significantly(P<0.05) . In all TOS groups,compared with the model group,the SYP expression in hippocampus increased significantly(P<0.05) .The outcomes of electron microscope showed neuronal degeneration in hippocampus in the model group,while TOS relieved the pathological changes of hippocampus neurons in rats.Conclusion TOS can improve the learning and memory ability in AD rats,which may be related to that it can up-regulate SYP expression.
摘要:Objective To investigate the influences of Tongluobaoshen Compound Formula(TCF) on expressions of TGF-β,fibronectin(FN) and laminin(LN) in the glomerular mesangial cells(GMCs) induced by lipopolysaccharide(LPS) .Method The medicinal serum was prepared after TCF was given to rats orally.The media of 5%medicinal serum was added into GMCs cultured in vitro.LPS was taken as stimulate factor.GMCs were divided into the blank group,LPS group,valsartan group,and low-dose,mid-dose,and high-dose TCF groups.GMCs were stimulated with LPS for 48 hours.The expressions of TGF-β,FN and LN in GMCs in all groups were detected by using cellular immunohistochemistry assay. Result TCF inhibited the expressions of TGF-β,FN and LN,and the effects were more significant in the high-dose and mid-dose TCF groups.The comparison between TCF groups and LPS group showed a significant difference(P<0.05) .Conclusion TCF can inhibit the expressions of TGF-β,FN and LN in GMCs induced by LPS,so that glomerular sclerosis was delayed.

摘要:Objective To set up a determination method of serum concentration of baicalin and geniposide from Yinzhihuang Injection by HPLC-PDA,and study the pharmacokinetics of Yinzhihuang Injection in rat serum.Methods The procedure of HPLC-PDA was performed on a column of Diamonsil C18,taking acetonitrile-0.3%formic acid as mobile phase in aqueous gradient elution.The flow rate was 1 mL/min and detection wavelength was 240 nm and 280 nm.The serum samples were treated with single-step protein precipitation.Results The linear ranges of baicalin and geniposide were,respectively,from 15.25 to 7625 ng/mL,and from 6.25 to 3125 ng/mL.The RSD values of intra-day and inter-day were less than 15%.The extractive recovery was between 70.45%and 82.54%.After the injection of Yinzhihuang Injection(4 mL/kg) in rats tail for one time,the pharmacokinetic parameters of baicalin and geniposide showed as follows:t 1/2α were(7.46±4.86) min and(3.50±4.26) min,V(c) were(0.004 5±0.002 4) mL/kg and(0.065 8±0.080 6) mL/kg;and AUC(0-t) were(11 318.75± 3 550.51) ng/(min·L) and(683.41±272.90) ng/(min·L) .Conclusion The method is simple,quick and accurate with a good repeatability,which can be used in the determination of serum concentration of baicalin and geniposide and pharmacokinetic study.

摘要:Objective To study the combinations of common TCM symptoms and their significance in chronic renal failure(CRF) by applying the relational analysis of information entropy.Method The relational analysis of information entropy was used to analyse 108 TCM symptoms(without prior syndrome differentiation) in 601 CRF patients selected from the clinic.Result After the initial analysis on 21 combinations of TCM symptoms of CRF,common TCM syndrome types were found as follows:heart qi deficiency,spleen qi deficiency,spleen-stomach qi deficiency,kidney yang deficiency,dual deficiency of qi and yin,liver qi stagnation,liver-spleen disharmony,liver-stomach disharmony,spleen-stomach disharmony,fluid depletion and blood deficiency,blood and yang deficiency,qi deficiency and dampness obstruction,blood stasis and blood deficiency,yang deficiency and water retention,and exuberant heat damaging fluid.The involved syndrome factors related to disease location included heart,spleen,stomach,kidney and liver.The syndrome factors related to disease nature included qi deficiency,yang deficiency,yin deficiency,blood deficiency,fluid depletion,qi stagnation,qicounterflow,dampness obstruction,blood stasis,water retention,and exuberant heat(fire) .Conclusion The TCM symptom data of CRF based on clinical survey are studied through applying the relational analysis of information entropy,and the obtained symptom combinations of CRF can provide a base for the research on CRF common syndromes and syndrome factors.

摘要:Objective To find out the correlation between the changes of resistance ratios in bilateral Sanyinjiao(SP6) and the uterus diseases through observing the change laws of resistance ratio in SP6 in the patients with dysmenorrheal,and to comparing them with normal women.Methods The methods of comparison,measurement,record and separating statistical persons were used in this experiment.The patients with dysmenorrheal were chosen as the research subjects and compared with the normal people. The unbalance ratios of bilateral SP6 were observed and compared in the dysmenorrheal group and normal group.When the resistance ratios of left and right SP6 were over(1.0±0.2) ,it was thought as unbalance.Results The unbalance rate was 16.7%in the normal group and 53.3%in the dysmenorrheal group.The unbalance rates of bilateral SP6 were significantly higher in the dysmenorrheal group than that in the normal group(χ 2 =8.864,P=0.003) .Conclusion The unbalance of resistance ratio of SP6 is more obvious in the patients with dysmenorrheal than that in normal people.It suggests that SP6 is one of reaction points on the body surface of dysmenorrheal patients,and when SP6 is needled an analgesic effect will be obtained.

摘要:Objective To survey the TCM constitutional characteristics and syndromes in the patients with fatty liver,study the relationships between constitutions and syndromes and provide the basis for preventing and treating fatty liver with Chinese medicine.Methods The constitutional types were investigated by applying the standard in Classification and Determination of TCM Constitutions.The questionnaire designed by assigned physicians was used to survey TCM syndrome types.The correlation between constitutional characteristics and TCM syndromes was analysed.Results Among 141 patients with fatty liver,the constitution of phlegm-damp accounted for 43.3%,qi-deficiency,17%,damp-heat,8.5%,liver-depression and spleen-deficiency,39.7%,phlegm-damp accumulation,24.1%,liver-qi stagnation,22.7%,damp-heat in liver-gallbladder,12.1%,and liver-yin deficiency,1.4%.The constitution of phlegm-damp was correlated significantly to the syndrome of phlegm-damp accumulation(P<0.01) .The constitution of damp-heat was correlated significantly to the syndrome of damp-heat in liver-gallbladder(P<0.01) .The constitution of yin deficiency was correlated to the syndrome of liver-yin deficiency(P<0.05) .The constitution of qi stagnation was correlated significantly to the syndrome of liver-qi stagnation(P<0.01) .Conclusion The constitutional types of fatty liver are mostly damp-heat constitution and qi-deficiency constitution.The syndrome types are mostly the syndrome of phlegm-damp accumulation and syndrome of liver-depression and spleen-deficiency.There is a correlation between the constitution of qi stagnation and the syndrome of liver-qi stagnation,constitution of damp-heat and the syndrome of damp-heat in liver-gallbladder,constitution of yin deficiency and the syndrome of liver-yin deficiency,and constitution of phlegm-damp and the syndrome of phlegm-damp accumulation,respectively.
