摘要:Qualitative interview,as an important method in qualitative research,is suitable for the non-quantitative questions in TCM clinical practice because of its obvious humanistic tendency.In the research of TCM intervening cancer,qualitative interview can be used to study the factors including TCM complex intervention,and the attitude,belief and expectation of physicians,patients and patients’ family members through one-to-one in-depth interview with physicians,patients or patients’ family members.The purpose is to obtain the subjective information from individuals and analyse specificity and commonness.Qualitative interview is a method being worth exploring,and the skills should be paid attention to such as interview time,way and wording in different interview objects.The material will be collected effectively and the interview objects will not be affected.The paper summed up the relevant researches in China and abroad,and based on the experience of researchers,discussed the scope of application of qualitative interview,interview objects and different skills to physicians,patients or patients’ family members in the research of TCM intervening cancer.
摘要:A model of Chinese formula design based on the characteristics of formula nature was initially established,and the effectiveness of this method was illustrated with examples.The results showed that the method had the reference value in the combination of Chinese medicinal ingredients and design of alternative plan for endangered medical materials.The study is helpful to promote the research on the theory of Chinese medicinal nature and combination theory.

摘要:Objective To observe the pathological changes of heart,liver,spleen and intestines in rats with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD),and influence of Chinese medicinal with action of diffusing lung,and to lay a foundation for the study on TCM theory of lung associating with large intestine.Methods The rat model of COPD was established by using intratracheal drip transfusion of LPS and cigarette smoking.The pathological changes of heart,liver,spleen,lung,kidney,intestines,testis and bladder were observed.The content of tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) and interleukin-1β(IL-1β) in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid(BALF),gastric emptying,expressions of IFN-γ mRNA and IL-10 mRNA in intestine tissue and intervention effect of Chinese medicinal were detected and observed.Results In the model group,lesion and partial exuviation of bronchiolar epithetium,adveolar disorder and interstitial thickening,infiltration of a large number of inflammatory cells and consolidation of partial alveoli were observed.The content of TNF-α and IL-1β and lymphocyte count increased significantly.The arrangement of colonic mucous glands was irregular and non-compact,lymphocytes increased,gastric emptying decreased,the expression of colonic IFN-γ mRNA increased,and expression of IL-10 mRNA decreased.There were no obvious pathological changes observed in heart,liver and spleen.After the intervention of Chinese medicinal with the action of diffusing lung,the pathological changes were alleviated in lung,lymphocyte count and the content of TNF-α and IL-1β in BALF decreased significantly.At the same time,the pathological changes were alleviated in colon,gastric emptying was improved,expression of IFN-γ mRNA decreased and expression of IL-10 mRNA increased in colonic homogenate.Conclusion The model of COPD has specific pathological changes in intestines.The administration of Chinese medicinal with the action of diffusing lung can alleviate the pathological changes in lung and intestines,which proves TCM theory of lung associating with large intestine,and the correlation and phenomenon of interactive regulation between lung and intestines.

摘要:Objective To investigate the influence of Chinese medicinal with actions of warming yang and dredging Du meridian combined with tendon-soothing manipulation on the evoked potential in rabbit model of cervical spinal cord injury induced by mechanical compression.Methods The model of cervical spinal cord injury induced by mechanical compression was established in 60 rabbits by implantation of stainless bolts into C5.After observing for 2 months and Tarlov scoring,the modeling result was examined with X-ray films.The rabbits were randomly divided into the Chinese medicinal and manipulation group,Chinese medicinal group,mecobalamin group and control group after successfully modeling.The Chinese medicinal and manipulation group,Chinese medicinal group and mecobalamin group were intervened by the manipulation and Chinese medicinal.The evoked potential of spinal cord and evoked potential of peripheral nerve spinal cord were detected by using RM6240 electrophysiologic instrument after intervention for 2 months.Results The influences of Chinese medicinal and manipulation,Chinese medicinal and mecobalamin were different on the evoked potential of peripheral nerve spinal cord and evoked potential of spinal cord.The amplification of the evoked potential of peripheral nerve spinal cord was higher in the Chinese medicinal and manipulation group and mecobalamin group than that in the control group(P<0.05).The amplification of the evoked potential of spinal cord was higher in the Chinese medicinal and manipulation group than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Chinese medicinal with actions of warming yang and dredging Du meridian combined with tendon-soothing manipulation have the effect of repairing spinal cord injury,promoting nerve conduction velocity,and relieving the evoked potential changes of spinal cord induced by mechanical compression.

摘要:Objective To investigate the signal pathway of lipopolysaccharide(LPS) influencing the formation of tongue fur.Methods The squamous carcinoma cell line(TCA-8113) cultured in vitro were acted by LPS in the doses of 0.1,1,5,10,50 and 100 mg/L for 16,32 and 48 hours respectively and the proliferative activity was detected by using MTT method.TCA-8113 cells were acted by LPS in the doses of 10,50 and 100 mg/L for 16,32 and 48 hours respectively and the distribution of cell cycle was detected by using flow cytometer.TCA-8113 cells were acted by LPS in the doses of 10,50 and 100 mg/L for 8 hours and the expressions of p38-MAP kinase,c-myc,c-fos and natural factor-κB(NF-κB) were studied by applying immunohistochemistry.Results Compared with the control group,LPS had no significant influence on the proliferative activity of TCA-8113 cells after LPS acting for 16 hours(P>0.05).In the 50 mg/L group and 100 mg/L group the proliferative activity was significantly improved(P<0.05) after LPS acting for 32 hours,but the effectiveness was not significant in the 0.1 mg/L group,1 mg/L group,5 mg/L group and 10 mg/L group(P>0.05).The proliferative activity was inhibited in the 0.1 mg/L group,1 mg/L group,5 mg/L group and 10 mg/L group(P<0.05),but the effectiveness was not obvious in the 50 mg/L group and 100 mg/L group(P>0.05) after LPS acting for 48 hours.LPS in the doses of 10,50 and 100 mg/L had no significant influences on the distribution of cell cycle and apoptosis of TCA-8113,and after acting for 16 hour the proportion of G1/G0-phase cells decreased,after acting for 32 hours the proportion of S-phase cells decreased,and after acting for 48 hours the distribution of cell cycle had no significant changes(P>0.05).LPS in the doses of 10,50 and 100 mg/L significantly regulated downward the expressions of p38-MAP kinase,c-myc,c-fos and NF-κB p50,but regulated upward the expression of NF-κB p65 after acting for 8 hours(P<0.05).Conclusion LPS in high dose can influence the proliferative activity of TCA-8113.It is an important exogenic factor in the formation of tongue fur and plays an key role in NF-κB signal pathway.

摘要:Objective To discuss the possible pathogenesis and biological base of qi deficiency syndrome in different pathological stages of myocardial ischemia of coronary heart disease(CHD).Methods The rat model of qi deficiency syndrome of CHD myocardial ischemia was established by applying left coronary ligation,and the information of TCM four examinations were collected generally and dynamically.The levels of interleukin-1(IL-1),interleukin-6(IL-6),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),matrix metalloproteinase-2(MMP-2) and matrix metalloproteinase-9(MMP-9) were detected by using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay in the model group and sham-operation group.Results After the operation for 4 days and 45 days,the qi deficiency syndrome was determined in model group from macroscopic signs and physico-chemical indicators.After 4 days,the levels of TNF-α,IL-1 and IL-6 increased by,respectively,5.52%,16.45% and 43.95%(P<0.05),and the levels of MMP-2 and MMP-9 had no significant changes(P>0.05) in the model group compared with the sham-operation group in the same stage.After 45 days,the levels of MMP-2 and MMP-9 increased by,respectively,15.05% and 28.08%(P<0.05),while the concentration of inflammatory factors decreased and the level of IL-6 restored to normal(P>0.05).Conclusion The levels of inflammatory factors including TNF-α,IL-1 and IL-6 increased in the model of CHD myocardial ischemia 4 days after the operation,which showed that the inflammatory reaction dominated the pathogenesis in this stage.After 45 days,the main manifestations of qi deficiency syndrome were the changes of MMP-2 and MMP-9,indexes related to myocardial remodeling and cardiac dysfunction,while the levels of inflammatory factors restored to normal.The leading pathogenesis of qi deficiency syndrome is different in the different pathological stages of myocardial ischemia.The study on the mechanism will provide experimental base for the biological and basic research in TCM syndromes.

摘要:Objective To study the influence of astragalus polysaccharides(APS) combined with tanshinone(Tan) on over-activation of myocardial natural factor-κB(NF-κB) pathway in rat model of chronic heart failure(CHF).Methods The model of heart failure after myocardial infarction was established with the ligation of left coronary artery.The changes of heart function was observed by using echocardiography.All rats were divided into the model group,APS group,Tan group,Aps and Tan group,lovastatin group and sham-operation group.The changes of myocardial pathomophorlogy was observed with light microscope,activation of myocardial NF-κB was detected by using immunohistochemistry assay,and the expressions of NF-κB,profilin IKB(IKB) and IKB kinase(IKK) were detected by using Western blot method.Results Myocardial NF-κB was activated,the expression of NF-κB increased significantly,and the expressions of profilin IKB and IKK decreased significantly.After the intervention of medicinal,the expression of NF-κB decreased and the expressions of profilin IKB and IKK increased(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of Chinese medicinal with the actions of supplementing qi and activating blood circulation can prevent the injury of myocardial function in rats with heart failure,and the mechanism may be related to the inhibition of the over-activation of NF-κB pathway.
摘要:Objective To observe the influence of Dang Gui Bu Xue Tang on spinal endothelial progenitor cells(EPCs) in rabbit model of atherosclerosis,and discuss the possible mechanism of Dang Gui Bu Xue Tang in treating atherosclerosis.Methods The model of atherosclerosis was established by using immune injury and fatty diet for 4 weeks in New Zealand rabbits(n=25).All modeled rabbits were divided into 5 groups(each n=5) according to the body weight.The blank group was intragastrically given distilled water,simvastatin group,aqueous suspension of simvastatin(1.7 mg/kg),and high-dose group(6 g/kg),mid-dose group(3 g/kg) and low-dose group(1.5 g/kg),Dang Gui Bu Xue Tang once a day for two weeks.The mononuclear cells were isolated from rabbit bone marrow by using density gradient centrifugation,which were cultured for 7 days and then adherent cells were cultured with Dil-ac-LDL and FITC-UEA-1 together for identifying EPCs and calculating the number of EPCs colony forming.The proliferation and adhesion were detected by using MTT method,adhension,by using adhension determination,migration,by using transwell chambers,and angiogenesis,by using in vitro angiogenesis kit.Results Compared with the blank group,the number of EPCs colony,proliferation,adhesion,migration and angiogenesis were all improved in the high-dose group,mid-dose group and simvastatin group(P<0.05),but had no significant changes in the low-dose group.Conclusion The anti-atherosclerosis effect of Dang Gui Bu Xue Tang is closely related to the promotion of EPCs number and activity.

摘要:Objective To investigate the best occasion for treating metabolic syndrome with the therapy of fortifying spleen and soothing liver.Methods The rat model of metabolic syndrome was established by using feeding method of high fat,sugar and salt diet and all rats were divided into the model group,Chai Qi Tang group,rosiglitazone group and normal group.Chai Qi Tang group was given Chai Qi Tang(5.71 g/kgod) and divided into the Chai Qi Tang group 1(after modeling) and Chai Qi Tang group 2(9 weeks after modeling) according to the different time points of medicinal administration.The rosiglitazone group was given rosiglitazone(1.2 mg/kgod) at the beginning of modeling.The general condition was observed in rats of different groups at different time points.The levels of blood fat and fasting plasma glucose were detected by using biochemistry assay,fasting insulin was detected by using radioimmunoassay,and the changes of vascular pathohistology was observed by using HE staining.Results The general condition of rat became poor gradually in the model group,and the model of metabolic syndrome was established successfully on the 8th week.The indexes of general condition,blood fat,fasting plasma glucose,insulin sensitivity and vascular pathohistology were all better in the Chai Qi Tang group 1 and rosiglitazone group than those in the model group.The improvement of total cholesterol(TC),plasma glucose and insulin sensitivity compared between the Chai Qi Tang group 1 and rosiglitazone group had no statistical difference,but other indexes were better in the Chai Qi Tang group 1 than those in the rosiglitazone group.The indexes of blood fat,insulin sensitivity and vascular pathohistology were all better in the the Chai Qi Tang group 1 than those in the Chai Qi Tang group 2.Conclusion The application of the therapy of fortifying spleen and soothing liver is important to preventing and intervening the progress of metabolic syndrome before its occurrence.

摘要:Objective To study the difference between aqueous extracts of Hongqi(Radix Hedysari) and Huangqi(Radix Astragali seu Hedysari) in influence on immune function in mice,and provide a guideline for their clinical application.Methods Clear Kunming mice(n=120) were randomly divided into the Huangqi group(20 g/kg of Huangqi),low-dose,mid-dose and high-dose Hongqi groups(10 g/kg,20 g/kg and 40 g/kg of Hongqi) and blank group(0.02 mL/g of normal saline solution).All mice were given relevant medicinal intragastrically once a day for 15 day.The indexes of spleen and thymus,phagocytosis of macrophages,delayed allergy,proliferation of T cells,activity of natural killer(NK) cells,and the levels of interleukin-2(IL-2) and interleukin-4(IL-4) were detected.Results Compared with the blank group,aqueous extracts of Hongqi and Huangqi promoted the phagocytosis of macrophages,proliferation of T cells,activity of NK cells,and secretion of IL-2 and IL-4(P<0.05,P<0.01).Compared with the Huangqi group,the proliferation of T cells,activity of NK cells and secretion of IL-2 and IL-4 were higher in the mid-dose and high-dose Hongqi group(P<0.05,P<0.01).Conclusion The aqueous extract of Hongqi has a better regulation effect on the immune function in mice than that of Huangqi.

摘要:Objective To observe the dynamic influences of medicinal combination with the actions of supplementing qi,removing toxicity and activating blood circulation [Renshen(Radix Ginseng),Dahuang(Radix et Rhizoma Rhei) and Gualou(Fructus Trichosanthis)] on high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),intercellular adhesion molecule-1(ICAM-1),vascular adhesion molecule-1(VCAM-1) and monocyte chemoattractant protein-1(MCP-1) based on rabbit model of atherosclerosis with classic high fat diet.Methods All 20 New Zealand rabbits were randomly divided into 3 groups.The Chinese medicinal group and model group were fed high fat diet for 6 weeks,and then given balloon pulling to injure the iliac artery followed by 3-week feeding of high fat diet.The normal group was fed general fodder.The Chinese medicinal group was intragastrically given formula of Reshen(0.64 g/kg),Dahuang(0.43 g/kg) and Gualou(2.14 g/kg) and the model group and normal group were given equal amount of drinking water.The levels of hs-CRP,ICAM-1,VCAM-1 and MCP-1 were detected by using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(double antibody sandwich).Results The formula with the actions of supplementing qi,removing toxicity and activating blood circulation decreased significantly the levels of hs-CRP,ICAM-1,VCAM-1 and MCP-1 to the levels as those in the normal group or even lower.Conclusion The formula of medicinal combination with the actions of supplementing qi,removing toxicity and activating blood circulation can significantly inhibit the expressions of inflammatory factors related to atherosclerosis and delay the progress of atherosclerosis through inhibiting inflammatory response and decreasing the levels of hs-CRP,ICAM-1,VCAM-1 and MCP-1.

摘要:Objective To study deeply the effective mechanism of moxibustion,and lay a foundation for the research on safety of moxibustion.Methods The combination technique of solid-phase microextraction-gas chromatography-mass spectrography(SPME-GC-MS) was used to analyse qualitatively the moxa smoke produced after moxa combustion.Results There were totally 61 peaks separated,and among them 26 components were identified,which consisted of three parts: components with furan structure at 0-10 minutes,aromatic compounds at 10-40 minutes,and esters,alkanes or hydroxyl-containing compounds at 40-70 minutes.Conclusion The products of moxa combustion are mostly essence and aroma,and a few of them will have some toxicity in a higher concentration.It is necessary to analyse quantitatively the detection components for studying on the safety of moxa combustion products.

摘要:Objective To investigate the clinical effect of isometric exercises of quadriceps muscle in the improvement of life quality in the patients with mild knee osteoarthritis(KOA).Methods The patients with KOA(n=70) were guided to practice straight-leg raising isometric exercises of quadriceps muscle for 30 minute every day for 3 months.The improvement of life quality of the patients’ was surveyed by using the questionnaire of University of Western Ontario and University of Manchester(WOMAC) Osteoarthritis Index.Results The life quality of all patients’ was improved after the exercises,which manifested as the pain of knee joint was relieved when going upstairs or downstairs,and the difficult was reduced in going upstairs or downstairs,getting on car or bus and doing heavy housework.The scores of WOMAC were significantly different before and after the exercises(P<0.01).Conclusion Nonweight bearing isometric exercises of quadriceps muscle(for 30 minutes everyday for 3 months) is a non-invasive,easy and reliable therapy for mild knee osteoarthritis.
摘要:Objective To study the effective mechanism of Fu Fang Dan Shen Di Wan in the treatment of craniocerebral trauma accompanied by diencephalic epilepsy.Methods The patients with craniocerebral trauma accompanied by diencephalic epilepsy(n=90) were randomly divided into the control group(n=41) treated with anti-epilepsy routine therapy,and the treatment group(n=49),with routine therapy and Fu Fang Dan Shen Di Wan(10 pieces once and three times a day).The curative effect and electroencephalogram(EEG) was observed after 3 months,and the level of nitric oxide(NO) was monitored before and after the treatment and during epilepsy seizure.Results Except of the non-ameliorated symptoms of epilepsy,satisfactory,significant,good and poor effects were all taken as curative effective in clinic.The total effective rate was 89.8% in the treatment group and 73.2% in the control group(P<0.05).The comparison of effect in EEG showed spike wave,slow wave,spike-slow complex and diffuse discharge was not statistically different(P>0.05) between two groups before and after the treatment.In the treatment group the level of NO was higher after the treatment than that before the treatment,and lower than that during epilepsy seizure.The level of NO was higher in the treatment group than that in the control group after the treatment(all P<0.05).Conclusion Fu Fang Dan Shen Di Wan has a reliable curative effect on craniocerebral trauma accompanied by diencephalic epilepsy,but is not targeted to the patients with spike wave,slow wave,spike-slow complex and diffuse discharge in EEG.The curative effect of Fu Fang Dan Shen Di Wan may be related to the amelioration of cerebral blood circulation,improvement of physical open of blood brain barrier and regulation of level of plasma NO.
