摘要:Western culture influencing on the East began in the end of Ming Dynasty,flourished in Qing Dynasty,and influenced and penetrated into all levels of society in the Republic of China.In the period of the Republic of China,Chinese pharmacy developed as an independent discipline,which was guided by the concepts of Western modern scientific research and took Chinese medicinals as research objects.There were different branches derived including pharmacognostics,pharmacology of Chinese medicinals and chemistry of Chinese medicinals as different objectives,content and methods of research.The therapies combined Chinese and Western medicinals were beginning to be applied in clinic.After Western culture influencing on the East Kampo medicine of Japan was replaced by Western medicine,and Chinese medicine also hit the bottom but faced with new opportunities because of new China was set up.In new China,Chinese pharmacy was renewed and developed greatly and has made many achievements,especially artemisinin has won Lasker Medical Research Awards,which has captured worldwide attention.The centennial journey of Chinese pharmacy was strenuous and bumpy and has been shot through with exploration and struggle for survival.In the new wave of Western culture influencing on the East and East culture influencing on the Western in the 21st century,Chinese medicine is facing the dual mission of inheritance and innovation and has a long way to go.An alluring prospective lies ahead.

摘要:Five viscera is a time-homeostasis regulation system,which changes with the waning and waxing of yin and yang in natural seasons.Five viscera,corresponding to natural five qi of birth,growth,transforming,harvesting and storing,dominates five seasons respectively.The liver,dominating spring,is an internal force to promote the changes of five viscera corresponding to seasons in the series of transformation process,and it will help other viscera play their roles in their dominating seasons.It is a multi-network and multi-level complex relationship that liver corresponding to five seasons.This theory can guide the diagnosis,treatment and recovery of liver-related diseases in clinic.

摘要:Objective To observe the influences of Huoxue Jiedu Fang on calcitonin gene-related peptide(CGRP) and regulatory pathway in spinal cord and sciatic nerve in diabetic rats,and discuss the mechanism of preventing diabetic neuropathy.Methods Male SD rats were divided into normal group,model group,methylcobalamin group,and high-dose and low-dose Huoxue Jiedu Fang groups(high-dose group and low-dose group).The model was established in rats by intraperitoneal injection of streptozocin(STZ,65 mg/kg).After 16 weeks,the levels of different sub-mRNA of CGRP in spinal cord were detected by using real-time fluorescence quantitative polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR),expressions of CGRP and calmodulin(CaM) in sciatic nerve were detected by using immunohistochemistry technique,and content of Ca2+ in sciatic nerve was detected by using plasma emission spectroscopy.Results Compared with normal group,the levels of CGRP α mRNA and CGRP β mRNA in spinal cord decreased and levels of CGRP and CaM in sciatic nerve decreased in model group.Compared with model group,the levels of CGRP α mRNA and CGRP β mRNA in spinal cord increased and levels of CGRP and CaM in sciatic nerve increased in high-dose group and low-dose group.Conclusion Huoxue Jiedu Fang can prevent diabetic neuropathy through increasing CaM expression and CGRP level.
摘要:Objective To examine for the first time the antidepression activity of extract of Heshouwu(Radix Polygoni Multiflori).Methods Male Kunming mice were divided into groups(each n=10).The aqueous extract and ethanol(75%) extract of Heshouwu and fluoxetine hydrochloride(FH) were all dissolved or suspended in 0.5% CMC-Na to reach to desired concentration.The doses of aqueous extract were 1.5 g/kg and 3 g/kg respectively,and ethanol extract,also 1.5 g/kg and 3 g/kg respectively,and dose of FH was 10 mg/kg.Equivalent dose of 0.5% CMC-Na was given to model group.All groups were intragastrically given corresponding medicinals once a day for 7 days.After the last time of giving medicinals for one hour,the tail suspension test(TST),forced swimming test(FST) and open field test(OFT) were conducted in mice.Results The aqueous extract(1.5 g/kg and 3 g/kg) shortened significantly the dead time in TST and FST(P<0.05) showing a good dose-effect relation.There was no significant difference compared with FH(P>0.05).The ethanol extract(1.5 g/kg and 3 g/kg) had no significant differences in the changes of the dead time in TST and FST(P>0.05).The comparison of crossing times in OFT was not different among all groups(P>0.05).Conclusion It is proved for the first time that the aqueous extract of Heshouwu has antidepression activity,while its ethanol extract had no under an established medicinal administration plan.

摘要:Objective To observe the influences of Jianpi Zhidong Tang on expressions of striatum dopamine(DA),homovanillic acid(HVA) and dopamine receptors(D1R and D2R) in mouse model of Tourette syndrome((TS).Methods Male ICR mice(n=24) were randomly divided into blank group,model group,tiapride group and Jianpi Zhidong Tang group(each n=6).The TS model was established in mice by intraperitoneal injection of iminodipropionitrile(IDPN,350 mg/kg) once a day for 7 days.After modeling the blank group and model group were given normal saline solution,tiapride group,tiapride(50 mg/kg) and Jianpi Zhidong Tang group,decoction of Jianpi Zhidong Tang(20 g/kg).The content of striatum DA,HVA,D1R and D2R were detected by using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Results Compared with model group,the content of DA showed a higher expression in tiapride group,Jianpi Zhidong Tang group and blank group(P<0.05).The content of HVA had no statistical difference among all groups(P>0.05).The content of D1R increased in Jianpi Zhidong Tang group than that in model group(P<0.05) and the content of D2R had no statistical difference among all groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Jianpi Zhidong Tang may play anti-Tourette syndrome role through influencing the expression of D1R.

摘要:Objection To study the changes of renal function indexes induced by repeated application of mercury-containing preparations of Chinese medicinals on skin ulcer and relationship between these changes and renal pathomorphology in rats,and provide evidences for monitoring the safety of mercury-containing preparations and definite diagnosis of renal injury.Methods SD rats(n=80) were randomly divided into 8 groups,including skin damage(control) group,model group,matrix group(vaseline) and 5 groups with different dose of preparations(1.219 g/kg,0.609 g/kg,0.305 g/kg,0.152 g/kg and 0.076 g/kg,group A,B,C,D and E).After consecutive medicinal administration for 14 days,the level of urinary retinol binding protein(RBP) was detected by using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA),level of blood urea nitrogen(BUN) was detected by using urease method,and level of serum creatinine(SCr) was detected by using deproteinization method.The kidney coefficient was calculated through weighing fasting weight and organ net weight of rats.The renal pathomorphology was observed after fixing kidney with formalin solution and HE staining.Results Compared with model group,the levels of BUN and SCr had no changes in other groups.The level of RBP increased significantly in group A,B,C and D(P<0.01).The kidney coefficient increased to varying degrees in group A,B,C,D and E.The observation of renal pathomorphology showed that extensive wound,bacterial infection and inflammation could cause pathological changes of kidney,mainly renal interstitial hemorrhage and inflammatory cell infiltration.These pathological changes were relieved in group A,B,C,D and E,but not relieved in matrix group.In the groups with higher dose of preparations,the pathological changes were mainly injury of renal tubules and renal tubules epithelial cells.In group A,B,C and D with higher level of RBP,renal tubules epithelial cells swelled obviously and exfoliated in varying degrees.In group A,B and C,the ectasia of renal tubules was obvious.Conclusion The common detecting indexes for kidney function can not reflect early renal pathological damage induced by external mercury-containing preparations of Chinese medicinals,and RBP can reflect early the toxic damage of kidney,a target organ,when the morphology changes occur in renal tubules epithelial cells.
摘要:Objective To investigate the influence of Huangqi Injection on vascular endothelial injury in multiple organ dysfunction syndrome(MODS) after anabiosis with different resuscitation fluid through establishing the model of MODS in rats with two hits.Methods SD rats(n=32) were randomly divided into control group,RL group(resuscitated with Lactated Ringer’s Solution),HTH group(resuscitated with 7.5% hypertonic saline and 6% hydroxyethyl starch mixture),and HTH group was divided again into HTH1 group(without Huangqi Injection after anabiosis) and HTH2 group(with Huangqi Injection after anabiosis).The animal model of MODS after anabiosis was copied in RL group and HTH group.HTH2 group was given intraperitoneal Huangqi Injection and HTH1 group and RL group was given 0.9% sodium chloride solution.After 24 hours the blood samples and lung tissue samples were collected for detecting the number of serum circulating endothelial cells(CEC),and content of nitric oxide(NO),endothelin-1(ET-1),lung tissue tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) and intercellular adhesion molecule-1(ICAM-1),interleukin-6(IL-6),vascular cell adhesion molecule-1(VCAM-1) mRNA,and pathological changes of lung tissue were examined with light microscope.Results The number of CEC and content of NO and ET-1 were significantly lower in HTH2 group than those in RL group and HTH1 group(all P<0.05).The content of TNF-α,ICAM-1,IL-6 and VCAM-1 were significantly lower in HTH2 group than those in HTH1 group(all P<0.05).Conclusion Huangqi Injection has obvious protective effect on vascular endothelial of MODS after anabiosis with different resuscitation fluid.

摘要:Objective To study the protective effect of Cigu(Sagittaria Sagittifolia) on liver damaged by isoniazid(INH) combining rifampin(RFP) in rats,and discuss the mechanism.Methods Male Wistar rats were randomly divided into 5 groups including control group,model group and high-dose,mid-dose and low-dose Cigu groups(high-dose group,mid-dose group and low-dose group,each n=8).Except of control group,other four groups were intragastrically given INH(50 mg/kg) and RFP(50 mg/kg) every day,and after two hours,given respectively distilled water,low-dose Cigu(5 g/kg),mid-dose Cigu(10 g/kg) and high-dose Cigu(15 g/kg) once a day and 20 mL/kg each time for 28 days.After the last giving of medicinals for 16 hours,the liver index,content of malondialdehyde(MDA) in liver homogenate and activities of superoxide dismutase(SOD) and glutathione transferase(GST) were detected.The pathological changes of liver tissue were observed.Results In high-dose group,mid-dose group and low-dose group,the content of MDA decreased significantly and degeneration and necrosis of liver tissue were relieved,and especially in high-dose group,the liver index was significantly decreased,the activities of SOD and GST were significantly increased,and pathological changes of liver tissue were relieved.The activity of GST was increased in mid-dose group too.Conclusion Cigu can protect liver from the injury induced by INH combining RFP in rats,which may be related to that Cigu has anti-lipid peroxidation.
摘要:Objective To study the influences and anti-relapse and anti-metastasis effects of Sini Tang and its different combinations of medicinals on expression of serum vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) in mice with Lewis lung cancer.Methods The effects of different combinations of Fuzi(Radix Aconiti Lateralis praeparata),Ganjiang(Rhizoma Zingiberis) and prepared Gancao(prepared Radix Glycyrrhizae) in Sini Tang were observed by using orthogonal design method.C57BL /6 mice(n = 102) were divided into 17 groups according to orthogonal array(each n = 6).On the second day of establishment of Lewis lung cancer model,all groups were intragastrically given medicinals(60 mg / kg) every day.On the 15th day,all mice were sacrificed by cervical dislocation.The tumor inhibitory rate was calculated after weighing tumor tissue.The pathological changes of tumor tissue were observed,number of metastatic nodules of pulmonary serface was counted,and changes of serum VEGF were significantly lower than those in group 1 (control group,P<0.05) and in group 17 (complete Sini Tanggroup,P<0.05) ,and were most significant in group 10 (P<0.01) . The tumor inhibitory rate was the highest in group 4,6,7 and 10.The number of metastatic nodules had statistical significance in the comparison between group 5,7,11 and 16 and group 1 (P<0.05) ,and less in group 7,11 and 16 than that in group 1. The expression of serum VEGF was significantly different in the comparison between group 2,3,6,7,10,11,12,13,14,16 and 17 and group 1 (P< 0.01) . Conclusion In Sini Tang,Fuzi,Ganjiang and prepared Gancao have the inhibitory effect on the proliferation of Lewis lung cancer,and the effect is the most significant when the combination of these three medicinals in the proportion of 3∶ 1∶ 6.
摘要:Objective To develop a method for determining the plasma protein binding rate of betulinic acid in rat plasma,human plasma and bovine serum albumin(BSA).Methods The plasma protein binding rate of betulinic acid was determined by using equilibrium dialysis.The concentration of plasma betulinic acid was determined by using HPLC.The plasma protein binding rate of betulinic acid was determined and compared in different serum samples.The HPLC procedure was performed on DiamonsilTM C18 column at 30 ℃.The mobile phase was acetonitrile-0.2% acetic acid(75∶ 25) in gradient elution,flow velocity was 1.0 mL/min and detection wavelength was 203 nm.Results When the concentration was from 50 mg/L to 100 mg/L,the concentration of betulinic acid had no significant influence on plasma protein binding rate.There was a significant difference between the plasma protein binding rate of betulinic acid in rat plasma and that in human plasma.The plasma protein binding rate of betulinic acid in human plasma was higher than that in rat plasma.Conclusion Betulic acid has a higher binding intension with plasma protein.HPLC for determining the plasma protein binding rate of betulinic acid is simple,rapid and sensitive with a higher selectivity.

摘要:Objective To study the chemical compositions of Guijianyu(Ramulus Euonymi Alatae).Methods Guijianyu was extracted with 50% ethanol,purified with AB-8 macroporous resin and isolated and purified repeatly with column chromatography of silica gel,gel Sephadex LH-20 and polyamide.After physicochemical constant determination,the chemical structure of Guijianyu was identified by using various kinds of optical spectrum and wave spectrum technology.Results There were 9 compounds isolated and identified from Guijianyu,including pelargidenon(1),linarin(2),naringin(3),catechin(4),protocatechuic acid(5),hexacosanoic acid(6),suberone(7),Epifriedelanol(8) and β-sitosterin(9).Conclusion Compounds 1,2 and 3 are isolated for the first time from Guijianyu.
摘要:Objective To establish a method for determining the release rate in vitro of Yizhi hydrogel matrix tablets,investigate the influence factors and study the mechanism of release in vitro.MethodsThe matrix tablets were prepared by using the methods of powder direct compression taken hydroxypropyl methylcellulose(HPMC) K15M and K4M as the matrix material,and geniposide,notoginsenoside R1,ginsenoside Rg1 and ginsenoside Rb1 as review indexes.The release rate in vitro of the matrix tablets was investigated in different detection methods,dissolution media and rotating speed.The difference of release was reviewed by using similarity factor f2 method,release equation was fitted and release mechanism was studied.ResultsDifferent detection methods,dissolution media and rotating speed had influences on the release rate in vitro of the matrix tablets.The mechanism was accorded with zero-order kinetic equation and Ritger-Peppas equation.Geniposide released in the way of non-Fick diffusion and notoginsenoside R1,ginsenoside Rg1 and ginsenoside Rb1 in the way of bulk erosion.ConclusionThe method for determining the release rate in vitro of Yizhi hydrogel matrix tablets was established and the mechanism is accorded with release kinetic model,which is worth further study.

摘要:Objective To discuss the evolvement rule of TCM syndrome characteristics of diabetic stroke from acute stage to early recovery stage,and supply theoretical evidences for the syndrome differentiation and treatment of stoke.Methods The patients(n=156) with stroke attacked within 7 days were divided into diabetes group and non-diabetes group according to accepted diagnosis standard for diabetes.Standards of Syndrome-differentiated Diagnosis of Apoplexy(1994) was used for scoring syndrome factors.The frequency distribution and score evolvement rule of TCM syndrome factors were discussed in two groups in the day of hospitalization,and on the 7th day,14th day and 28th day after stroke attacking.Results In the day of hospitalization,wind syndrome,fire-heat syndrome and phlegm syndrome had a higher frequency.The score changes of syndrome factors of wind syndrome had significant difference between diabetes group and non-diabetes group at different time points(P<0.05).On the 7th day,the frequency of yin deficiency with yang hyperactivity syndrome increased in diabetes group.On the 28th day,the scores of yin deficiency with yang hyperactivity syndrome had significant difference between two groups(P<0.01),and the frequency distribution of yin deficiency with yang hyperactivity syndrome had significant difference between two groups at different time points(P<0.05).Conclusion At the early stage of diabetic stroke,the TCM syndrome characteristics are influenced much less by the pathogenesis of wasting-thirst and the characteristics are mainly confined in stroke itself.The characteristics of wasting-thirst become apparent at later stage along with the prominent yin deficiency with yang hyperactivity syndrome,and the syndrome of deficiency of the root and excess of the tip appears with yin deficiency as the root and phlegm and heat as the tip.

摘要:Objective To investigate the correlation between dark purple tongue and prognosis of patients with myocardial infarction.Methods The dark purple tongue was identified by applying expert intelligent analysis system of TCM tongue imaging(TY-SX3).The patients(n=63) with dark purple tongue at the stable stage for 7 days after myocardial infarction were enrolled in dark purple tongue group,and those(n=65) without dark purple tongue for 7 days were enrolled in non-dark purple tongue group.The level of brain natriuretic peptide(BNP) and heart rate turbulence(HRT) were detected and the correlation between them and patient’s prognosis was analyzed.Results The level of BNP was significantly higher in dark purple tongue group than that in non-dark purple tongue group(P<0.05).HRT attenuated significantly in dark purple tongue group than that in non-dark purple tongue group(P<0.05).Conclusion Dark purple tongue has a certain predictive value to the prognosis in the patients with myocardial infarction.

摘要:Objective To discuss the relationship between the syndrome differentiation types of stroke and carotid atherosclerosis.Methods The hospitalized cases of stroke(n=300) were selected.Each case had TCM diagnosis of disease type or syndrome type of stroke as well as detailed carotid color ultrasonography report.The disease types of stroke included stroke involving meridians and stroke involving zang-fu organs.The syndrome types of stroke included 7 ones,they were wind-phlegm fire hyperactivity,wind-fire attacking up,phlegm-heat fu-organ excess,wind-phlegm stasis,phlegm-damp clouding heart spirit,qi deficiency and blood stasis and wind-stirring induced by yin-deficiency.The relationship between disease types or syndrome types of stroke and carotid atherosclerosis was analyzed.Results The most of cases with stroke involving meridians had carotid atherosclerosis without stenosis or with mild stenosis and unstable plaques.Those with stroke involving zang-fu organs had severe stenosis or occlusion with stable plaques(P<0.05).The degree of atherosclerosis was less severe(21.8%,21.0%) and plaques were unstable(22.4%,24.1%) in the patients with wind-phlegm stasis or qi deficiency and blood stasis.The patients with phlegm-damp clouding heart spirit had moderate or severe carotid stenosis or occlusion(35.7%),and those with wind-fire attacking up mostly had stable plaques(27.4%).Conclusion Carotid atherosclerosis has a correlation with the syndrome differentiation types of stroke,which is valuable in clinical diagnosis.

摘要:Objective To observe the curative effect of abdominal acupuncture combining body acupuncture on ischemia stroke.MethodsAccording to the inclusion criterion in this study,the selected patients were divided into abdominal acupuncture group(abdominal group,n=30),body acupuncture group(body group,n=31) and combining group(n=31) by applying random digits table.The patients were given acupuncture treatment respectively after choosing abdominal and body acupoints based on theoretical acupoint choosing principle.The relief of symptoms of consciousness,language,paralysis of upper limbs,paralysis of lower limbs and activities of daily living(ADL) were observed and compared.The curative effect and ADL scores were reviewed before the treatment and after treatment for 30 times.ResultsThe curative effect had significant difference respectively before and after the treatment in three groups,but the comparison between abdominal group and body group showed no significant difference(P>0.01).The curative effect and ADL scores were better or higher in combining group than those in other two groups(P<0.01).ConclusionAbdominal acupuncture is an effective therapy for treating stroke and has the same curative effect as body acupuncture.The combination of abdominal acupuncture and body acupuncture can relieve much better the symptoms of consciousness,language and motor function of limbs in the patients at recovery stage of stroke(qi deficiency and yin deficiency),improve effective rate and ADL scores.
