Objectif : Statistiques sur la publication de documents sur la médecine traditionnelle chinoise dans les revues internationales, et exploration de l’influence internationale et de la contribution académique de la recherche en médecine traditionnelle chinoise. Méthodes : Utilisation de la bibliométrie, basée sur les logiciels VOSviewer 1.6.17, Cite Space 5.8.R2 et le package R Studio Bibliometrix, pour analyser visuellement le nombre de publications, les citations, les dates de publication, les institutions de recherche, les auteurs et la répartition géographique des articles sur la médecine traditionnelle chinoise dans les bases Pub Med et Web of Science jusqu’au 19 mars 2025. Statistique des facteurs d’impact des revues, analyse des publications cliniques et des maladies de différents systèmes. Résultats : Jusqu’au 19 mars 2025, 98746 articles de recherche publiés sur la médecine traditionnelle chinoise, dont 9575 études cliniques, avec 7083 (73,97 %) résultats positifs. Au cours des 20 dernières années, le nombre annuel de publications a montré une tendance à la croissance stable. La recherche couvre 217 pays et régions, impliquant 279128 auteurs, 37662 institutions, dont des institutions académiques internationales renommées comme la Harvard Medical School. 4598 articles à fort impact (facteur d’impact > 10), dont 172 cliniques. 35 articles cliniques avec résultats positifs publiés dans des revues très influentes (facteur d’impact > 40). Le domaine de l’oncologie est le plus prolifique avec 13001 publications. Conclusion : La valeur clinique de la médecine traditionnelle chinoise est largement reconnue internationalement, sa scientificité et son efficacité clinique ont été validées par des recherches de haute qualité publiées dans des revues prestigieuses. Cette étude fournit une base académique importante pour le développement international et l’évaluation scientifique de la médecine traditionnelle chinoise.
