摘要

面对新型冠状病毒肺炎(COVID-19)这一国际突发公共卫生事件

必然要探求其致病原因。病原学的研究表明

COVID-19由一种新型冠状病毒(SARS-CoV-2)引起。源于目前尚无针对COVID-19有效的药物

中医及时有效地参与COVID-19之救治显得尤为迫切和重要。中医学主张“辨证求因

审因论治”

因而COVID-19中医病因病机学的探讨势在必行。目前有关COVID-19病因

多是基于《素问·刺法论篇》“余闻五疫之至

皆相染易

无问大小

病状相似”之语

将其病因断定为“疫气”(同“疠气”)。这样的断定缺乏必要的逻辑论证。本文应用溯因推理、最佳说明推理

分析论证“疠气”何以成为COVID-19的中医学病因

展现COVID-19病因为中医学所言“疠气”的过程。经由溯因推理、最佳说明推理得出的“疠气”病因假说

对COVID-19的发病具有强有力的解释性

对COVID-19治疗思路有良好的启发性。

Abstract

As an emergent international public health event

it is crucial to determine the etiology of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). Etiological research has shown that COVID-19 is caused by SARS-CoV-2.Since there are no effective conventional therapies for COVID-19

the involvement of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) in the treatment of COVID-19 in a timely and effective manner is in extremely urgent need. It is proposed in TCM to "identify the etiology and apply treatment based on pattern differentiation"

which indicates that it's crucial to find the TCM etiology of COVID-19.

Huangdi Neijing (Huangdi's Internal Classics)

states that "All of five pestilences can spread from person to person. No matter in children or in adults

the symptoms are similar".At present

it is believed that the cause of COVID-19 is pestilential qi. This statement itself lacks necessary logical proof.This article analyzes and demonstrates why pestilential qi is deemed the cause of COVID-19 by abduction inference and best explanation.The hypothesis of pestilential qi through abduction inference and best explanation is thus powered by strong logic and can provide reference for the treatment of COVID-19.
